It would be handy if when you held down the Mlem icon, it would give an option menu to jump to your subscribed, local or all communities, similar to the screenshot.

Since 3D Touch became a long press I don’t really use that anymore. It’s often slower than opening the app and tapping something, but I guess depending on what options you have there it might be worth it.
I didn’t know people actually used held down menu on Home Screen.
I only use it when removing apps, maybe I’m doing it wrong
It’s pretty neat when you get habituated to it
