Remember when it was Global Cooling?
Ok, but I wouldn’t say this is the same at all. They talked about global cooling, they weren’t living in it.
The climate is getting hotter, faster than any other period in history. Other warming events have taken thousands of years, this warming event has happened in 150 years. This is irrefutable fact, as we have the temperature records to prove it.
When did they talk about Global Cooling? Sources please.

It was a short-lived thing based on like one or two articles that were basically … well, not bullshit but not really of any significance.
I read a sci fi story based on this premise which had a lengthy afterword taking about how it was based on an outdated and inaccurate doomsday scenario and how it was a product of its time.
