I think about this a LOT as I get into DIS. The whole coffin ship seems antithetical to Klingon lore and cannon and the way the interior is built just screams decadence which again, goes against all Klingon lore. Why is the bridge 3x the size of the Discovery bridge???

Best way to explain it all is don’t watch any of the new shows with the exception of Lower Decks. It’s decent parody with actual Star Trek-like storytelling and situations. The rest… aren’t.

It’s not THAT bad. It’s still got Frakes all over it and I’m watching it while catching up with Greatest Trek which makes it much more fun, although I vehemently disagree with them on a few key aspects of DIS.

Eg: At no point would there even be a debate about the morality of torturing sentient life.

        And don’t folks love SNW?

I can only vehemently disagree. DIS only gets worse and worse every season. SNW had potential and they crashed it into Veridian III with the same bad writing and illogical plotting. Picard is the biggest dumpster fire I have ever forced myself to watch.

People love Big Brother and whatever with the Kardashians, but it doesn’t make them good.

All I’m saying is if canon and continuity matter to you, Lower Decks is the only one that even tries.
