There isn’t that much airing these days that I care about. I’ve been dipping into my anime collection and I’ve rewatched Code Geass and I was going to get started on FLCL but I ended up just deciding to watch Voyager. It’s been a while since I gave VOY a full run-through. It’s a great show for watching before bed.

I might start watching the second season of Foundation, because the first season was rad. Apple TV has been on par with HBO levels of quality.

Futurama has been airing on Sundays I think. That’s like, the only show I’ve been keeping up with. It doesn’t feel like there’s much worth watching these days.

Just rewatched Lower Decks and am back on DS9 now. I should probably watch something that isn’t Trek though. Didn’t realise there was a Snowpiercer s4 coming out soon, looking forward to that!

I have a Trek-curious coworker who started watching SNW so that he could participate in the conversation a few of us always have after our Friday standup. Now that there aren’t new episodes he said we should pick stuff out of the archives to watch ahead of time and discuss… So tomorrow morning I look forward to his thoughts on Sub Rosa!

I havent watched much TNG only " the best of both worlds" and “chain of command” as they were in the picard tv & movie collection. If you have any episodes of TNG to recommend please let me know

From the first two, rough seasons: Encounter at Farpoint (to establish Q); Heart of Glory; Conspiracy; The Neutral Zone; A Matter of Honor; Measure of a Man; Q Who; Elementary Dear Data; Samaritan Snare (to introduce a key antagonist in Lower Decks); The Emissary.

If you enjoy these, you may just wish to plow on through seasons 3-6. Season 7 is eccentric.

I am re-watching Picard and are near the end of season 2 now. I’ve found the show to be much better and indeed extremely enjoyable if one binges it. The one episode per week scheme at release when I first watched Picard was really detrimental to such a heavily serialised story, in my opinion. After Picard, I will be re-watching all three seasons of Lower Decks to prepare for the fourth in September.

Being somewhat new to trek, I bought the Picard movie & tv collection box set prior to season 1 airing and thoroughly enjoyed it. Might be a good time to revisit these + picard series😊

I’m always stunned to hear from Star Trek fans who haven’t tried any of the animated shows. They may not be to everyone’s taste - but…not to even give them a try?

I understand that there’s a real bias among some against animation as a media form, but even TAS rose above the norms for American Saturday morning cartoons to get the franchise’s only series Emmy.

Anyhow, I keep finding myself encouraging fans to at least give each of the three animated series a run through. Even the two intended for younger audiences - TAS and Prodigy - are really designed to appeal to all ages.

Especially now, with Star Trek Prodigy needing to find a new home, it’s all the more important to give them the support of views. #SaveStarTrekProdigy!

I started with DISCO, then PIC, then SNW. I don’t think there’s any particular reason I haven’t watched TAS, Lower Decks or Prodigy🤔
