18-19 is still the teen years though. When we say teenager, we mean 13-19. We don’t asterisk 18-19. And when looking at the largest cause of death in cars they still go through 19 when doing comparisons like this, the data for the Journal of Pediatric medicine. And comparing the two groups, this is very true in 1-19 guns surpassed car deaths. But that doesn’t hold for each age in the group. Gun deaths in 1 year olds are exceedingly rare. You can parse it however you want but up through 19 as a whole has guns winning. Homicide by gun was up 66% in 0-4 group is just crazy. That is a group you do not expect to die by guns.

This guy has a long history of doing things to completion. Ran the perimeter of USA, ran from LA to NYC after 9/11. Big cycling stuff. He is an actual world class athlete. I think he really wants to do this but lacks the finances and connections to have the support needed for such an expedition.

Yes, for a lot of end stage production. I’m talking about chemical stock production. So, all the different polymers, acids, starting hydrocarbons, basic pharmaceutical stock, pharmaceutical production, industrial chemical production, all the chemicals that go into producing microchips, etching chemicals, etc. this is where the massive environmental problems come from.
The chemical stock production is where all production starts. Most of this production was offshored to countries willing to take on that mess: China and India at the large scale, and at smaller scale are a bunch of African nations and a variety of smaller Asian countries. Russia too, and we see how well all the multinationals are honoring sanctions against Russia right now.
I avoid buying stuff from China too, but every major multinational corporation relies on China for basic supply chain materials at a reasonable price allowing for profit margin; until you can convince all those entities that cutting off access to the cheapest supplier and sometimes only supplier, no sitting president is going to put real consequences on the Chinese government.
The sad truth is that we unloaded the majority of our environmental production problems to countries that were willing to take on that problem, and were willing to sign onto international patent laws. China was willing to do this, created enough educated population to do this, and had no problem with the environmental damage that it created. USA, EU, and most of the so called “developed” nations were willing to put all that onto China. China has no problems under paying and overworking their citizens, while using super lax environmental laws.

Me, I would go to a top law firm and see a senior partner about getting out of being publicized. Have them set up sale of property and disconnect my phone lines and internet accounts after creating new unknown ones. I would have the lawyers present the ticket for me through various layers of holding companies and trusts, but I would be a ghost for awhile. The legal team would make sure all family members got some money with a nice non disclosure agreement. Immediate family would have my contact information with a request to never disclose. All money Would be dispersed between several low fee brokerages where I would invest in a combination of treasury backed securities, short term CDs, total stock market ETFs, and cash would be dispersed between several high interest savings accounts. I would be unreachable for 6 months while News died down.

Not everything is about trade wars. All it takes is for the US to say they will not follow NATO security agreements and follow through with that, and if you think that is not possible you haven’t paid attention to the shit show over here. It’s a serious problem and we are not fixing the holes that appeared in recent years.
