The Palestinian people, as a whole, certainly have the moral high ground given the Israeli government’s decades long campaign of genocide and apartheid against them.
However, if you mean “actors on both sides of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict have done reprehensible things,” then of course that is the case. Hamas and the Israeli military have both committed great and serious crimes against civilians.
But only one side has the power to begin negotiations or seriously affect genocide against the other, and that’s Israel - and thus far, they have decided on the genocide route. Supporting the Palestinian people in this conflict is not the same as endorsing Hamas’ actions.
Nothing short of immediate sanctions, invasion, regime change, and natural resource extraction will fulfill the world’s need for justice on behalf of this one guy.
My SmartLauncher homescreen with ergonomically arranged app icons so I don’t hurt my thumb on this massive screen (with double-tap options - so 12 total apps there). Can also hide the icons with the dot on the bottom right.
A lot of incorrect answers here as to the legality - this is not a blanket 100% definitely legal situation. In the US, the boss can certainly ask why. But, if he denies leave for something that is discriminatory then that is an adverse employment action under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act if they employ at least 15 employees.
For instance, if he doesn’t allow leave to someone to observe a religious holiday, but allows others to go on leave under similar circumstances, that could be illegal.
A lot of things could be discriminatory. Its stupid of him to ask for specifics beyond medical vs personal.
Depending on if you think Capitalism should be totally abolished or not, you could be a Social Democrat all the way to a Libertarian Socialist.
Edit: gotta have a state to nationalize things. So could be Dem Soc/Market Socialist to as far left as ML. But MLs typically are a little less pro-individual liberties, so probably not ML.
