I’d only change one thing and say most of the problems for Iran started because of the UK/US being imperialistic and has never recovered as a result

I’m half way on that journey, went from Rpi4 to M2 Mac Mini to host docker stuff and god knows how much in hard drives.
Really should look at used ones
I used IRC daily religiously for 15 years, but around 2011 I just stopped and never got back into using it. The client of choice was Xchat.
Apple Pay every day, and before that Google Pay. I haven’t really used cash in years.
There’s a very rare exception for like one store I visit that requires cash with an ATM next-door so I just pay by cash then but otherwise I’m using my phone/watch for all payments.
On the whole a solid episode and the Scott appearance was very surprising and well done.
However why the hell is Christine the only survivor on the cayuga, it makes no sense at all.
Also the fucking cliffhanger is ridiculous
I don’t think I would want to live in a world without cheese.
Agreed, I didn’t mind Kirk being in A Quality of Mercy or Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow. However, him being in this episode just felt he was in it for the sake of it.
That’s how I felt about it myself, they knocked it out of the park.

This episode is one of the best episodes in the modern era of Trek, it’s lighthearted it’s funny it celebrates Trek and it’s done so tastefully that I genuinely have nothing bad to say about it. It reminds me of Trials and Tribble-ations.
Plus that line at the end where they tell Una ad astra per aspera and that’s why boimler joined Starfleet is just the right kind of emotions.
Honestly, they smashed it in this episode and ofc the 2d animated intro was chefs kiss.
The scene while nonsensical in terms of what we’ve established in Trek Science is at least visually cool and fun.
I’ll check out the season when it airs, I just hope it is better than I expect.
I don’t think you should be afraid of asking for help, the ones that will offer help are usually going to be very patient.
Overall a solid episode, a little different but ultimate felt very core Star Trek TOS with strange alien life and coming to a resolution.
Paul Wesley continues to impress me in the role of James T Kirk but his character did not need to be in this episode, they need to be careful with how they use him going forward.
in recent years I’d say Dizzie Rascal.
In my entire lifetime that award goes to Mandela
I gotta get me one of those.
There’s also another side to it which is that there’s a very big difference in what TOS fans and TNG era fans would consider proper Star Trek.
I’ve always held the belief that SNW is very much a spiritual successor or prequel to TOS, and while TNG was a sequel in some ways to TOS it was a very different tone and style and it’s some what jarring for people who never really got into TOS to accept as Star Trek.
People think that witty banter and quips were something new to SNW but TOS was full of them the entire relationship of the Trio was built on them, or the goofy scenes where someone would do something silly like Scotty getting drunk with comedic music etc.
This combined with as you mentioned above some slight alterations to canon drives people up the wall and it’s just silly. Enjoy the show for what it is or just don’t watch it.
Is journalism biased because it doesn’t agree with your worldview? That’s one hell of an authoritarian take.
Really feels like we are in that sort of a world these days where if something comes from someone you don’t like or agree with it must automatically be fake.
The legacy of 2016
Yeah that’s a no go mate, I couldn’t even do my job if I had a £100 phone it would end up being a cluster fuck as I need to constantly look at spreadsheets, and multiple email inboxes and work through a web Ui portal and none of that is gonna be a good experience on a phone at that price.
I’ve used enough of those cheap £100 phones be they new or second hand to know for someone who’s actually using their phone to do work they are completely unsuitable.
Depends on the time of the year,
During the summer I’d have one before and after work, during winter once a day or once every two days
