That EEG helmet development is huge, even if it’s only 40% accurate. The fact that it can be done at all just made it cross the threshold from sci-fi into just sci.

Scientists don’t understand the concept of fun
Could I get a source? This is huge if true.
I’m so glad I’m not the only person that gets the same “theme park” vibes from MMOs. It really takes me out of it when someone is doing the same quest as me but is a few steps ahead so they trigger a unique animation or dialogue from the quest giver, and then I experience the same animation or dialogue a few minutes later. Kinda like waiting in line for a ride but you can hear or see some parts of the ride as you progress through the line.
That’s a wailder. OP was thinking of a waitress that works with locks.
You can get certain types of ice when you apply a certain temperature and pressure to water. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_IX
I stand corrected.
Crying eyes. The period is a nose, and the legs of the n are tear streams while the horizontal line is a closed eye.
If it doesn’t look good, you can always go back to your old cut and then try again when your hair gets long enough.
I got one for ya. I was changing the oil in my fiancée’s car and wanted to know how to clear the “maintenance required” light so I looked it up online. First result was of course someone asking the same question to some sort of car forum. The top response? “That is something the dealership can do for you”.
Motherfucker if I wanted the dealership to do it for me, I would have had them change my oil in the first God damn place! Jesus fuck that response just ruined my day. Utterly useless waste of kilobytes. Luckily the response right under his had the answer I was looking for. This happened like a month ago and I’m still pissed off about it.
I can think of a couple ways, but whether or not they’d work is unclear or if they’d even be ethical or practical.
Best one I got is to keep the cows indoors and collect the methane from the internal atmosphere. Make the roof of said building out of glass or some other clear material so that the cows and their grazing ground has access to sunlight. But then you’d need to regularly clean the roof…
Not to mention having to maintain an HVAC system that siphons all the air (or maybe just the top layer?) of the interior space and somehow separates the methane from the myriad other gases in the space.
Sounds plausible but impractical.
