I workout in the morning right after I wake up. Many times it’s happened that I feel hungry after waking up, but the hunger sort of reduces or almost goes away after I finish my workout. I used to wonder why, maybe this is the reason.
At least the ERVs seem to play a role in the progression of the disease.

It seems to be a complex mixture of mechanisms. You can first check the Wikipedia article: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrogen_embrittlement And this is a review article on the mechanisms in steel (it’s from scihub so it should open): https://sci-hub.53yu.com/
Voyager and TNG. Best shows for putting me into a good mood.
Oh this was really very well explained. Thanks a lot for sharing this.
You’ve indeed been lucky.

That was an interesting twist
I change my socks and give them for washing after every use. It’s kinda necessary as I sweat a lot.
I read in my phone using an ebook reader app with amoled black background and a peach-ish font colour. I keep brightness on minimum, have phone’s night light setting on (it reduces blue light). Also ensure that my phone is on silent and dnd mode. Best combination IMO for reading in the dark before going to sleep. Another idea is, listen to an audiobook with sleep timer on.
I find myself enjoying episodic shows more than serials like star trek TNG, Voyager, House MD, etc. I tend to get bored with non episodic shows because with episodic ones I can look forward to watching a new story every episode. Keeps me interested.
Just watched the first episode yesterday. Really enjoyed it and look forward to watching the whole season.
From what I understand, it’s just that Iceland is a geologically active zone and had earthquakes and volcanoes for centuries. So they are pretty much used to it. They also make some positive use of it by harnessing geothermal energy (from what I’ve heard).

ACC is mainly studied for its role in cognition and emotion. In the article linked it’s mentioned >The ACC is one of the higher-order cortical regions that have been extensively studied for cognitive and emotional brain functions, but have been understudied for brain disease-related sensory abnormalities.> I also found another article on the role of ACC in cognition and emotion: https://neuro.psychiatryonline.org/doi/full/10.1176/jnp.23.2.jnp121
