But 95 Billion bucks for Ukraine and Israel instantly passes
Instantly? The Ukraine part took over 6 months and forced at least one, and perhaps two, changes in leadership in the House of Representatives. It was about as contentious as it could possibly be and still get done.
The funding for Israel was a whole different story.
One of the reasons that the 17th Amendment was passed was because so many State Legislatures were failing to send Senators that the Senate was getting hamstrung. Then there were States that sent two sets of Senators, one from each party, and the Senate had no way to distinguish which ones should be seated!
I’m sure those two things sound familiar to anyone whose been paying attention to US Politics for the last few years.

It’s taking longer to get moving than anyone thought but as the article notes it should pick up speed. Downside of a de-centralized economy I guess.
Some very suspect math and contradictory claims in that article.
For anyone squinting at the tiny picture and trying to figure WTF is going on…this is a much better article.

The correct response to someone claiming something is propaganda is to go find more sources for more and separate incidents. If you can find multiple sources showing that a situation has happened multiple times then it stops being “propaganda” and starts being information.
At this point I have a pile of independent sources documenting multiple different incidents that support my understanding of the situation. I’m still open to counter evidence but so far you haven’t provided any.
That’s a fair point, but what you are talking about isn’t a “VPN”, at least not as they’re commonly known and understood. Please remember that my response was directed to a user whose comment boiled down to “Get a VPN, that will solve the problem.” A regular VPN will absolutely not the solve the problem.
I don’t think that’s a fair criticizm. After all my dumb ass hasn’t been banned (so far).
Fair enough.
That one details several such cases and includes links to local coverage from Litchi News from one of them.
Then there’s this showing that the CCP banned unregistered VPNs in 2017. It’s partially why they prosecuted the people in the previous article.
If you don’t like that then here’s The Guardian with a separate incident:
Seriously, I can find articles like that detailing different incidents in every major mainstream media source. So either all of them are lying to me -or- you are trying to gaslight me.
Guess which one I think is more probable?
I feel like I should say that a VPN isn’t a magic bullet. Even if its configured correctly to totally obfuscate the data and the final endpoint of the traffic it’s still blatantly obvious that a VPN is in use. Given that the CCP monitors all of this stuff it wouldn’t surprise me to learn that if you run a VPN long or often enough without providing stating why that it’ll either end up blocked or you’ll end up in trouble.
Not to take anything away from Ukraine but IIRC the tactic of using small watercraft loaded with explosives against much larger naval ships was pioneered by Al-Qaeda. They damn near sank the USS Cole back in October of 2000 while it was refueling in Aden Harbor.
the video makes it look like they took down that corvette with an inflatable motorboat.
That’s basically what’s happening. I don’t know if they used inflatable motorboats specifically, Ukraine has used JetSki’s previously, but what they’re doing is packing shaped explosive charges onto small watercraft, running the craft up against the hull of the ship and then blowing it up. If you rewatch the video you can see that multiple attacking craft were used and at least two of them targeted and damaged the same area of the hull!
Those little boats pack a MEAN punch and as you can see in the video they are damn hard to hit with projectile weapons. The Russian crew was obviously shooting like crazy but they weren’t able to stop the attack.
Al-Qaeda famously did this to the American Naval Vessel USS Cole back in 2000. The USS Cole didn’t sink thanks to the efforts of its bad ass damage control team but the ship was seriously damaged and it took a year to rebuild her.
So, too big to fail, huh? I see where you’re at.
Oh no, they are failing. Are in fact failed at this point.
Real Estate represents something like 30% of China’s total GDP and Evergrande was one of the top 3 largest Real Estate developers in China. Country Garden is / was another of the Top 3 and it too is in default with a debt problem almost as bad as Evergrande.
Those two former behemoths aside China has seen literally dozens of smaller Real Estate developers default and go under over the past 36 months and it’s having painful consequences on downstream industries, consumers, and government budgets.
This ain’t “Pearl Clutching”, Evergrande is just the latest visible indicator that there’s a serious problem with the Chinese Economy.
The job is about Wolves and it’s in Colorado. I’m sure they have applicants coming out of their ears.
You gonna burn the wolves with it? Because this place is a Non-Profit Wolf and Wildlife Education center on Pikes Peak in Colorado.
Pythagoras wasn’t white. 😎
