Given China’s support for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, I find this hard to believe. Given that it came from the CCP and not Ukraine’s government, I find it doubly hard to believe.

LOL! Touché! ;)
A friend says that Sunak doesn’t actually want to be PM and he hates the Tories. That’s why he’s deliberately making numb skull moves like this.
The prime minister posted on X … that freedom of speech was the "most powerful feature of our democracy.”
Is Sunak really so stupid that he doesn’t realize he just refuted his own argument? And I thought US politicians were morons.
Not only is she a bigot and bully in her own right, she also can’t read or understand spoken English.
I agree all the way around.
A military recruiter (I don’t remember which branch) spent most of one summer in the 80s trying to phone me while I was home from university. The first time, I was out but my mom told him I wasn’t interested. The second time, she told him – truthfully – that I was busy and couldn’t take his call but that I also wasn’t interested. The third time, she suggested that I tell him myself so that he could stop wasting everyone’s time. That conversation started something like “Hello, I mean no disrespect, but you don’t want me in your organization. I speak Russian for a reason.” He agreed.
I remember when Carter tried to reactivate the US military draft. It didn’t go well. Young people hated it. Their parents hated it. Their grandparents hated it. Businesses hated it. Colleges hated it. The military hated it. Only Jimmy Carter seemed to love it.
Reagan won the next election in a landslide.
Don’t you think that those influence and disinformation campaigns have always been around? In the past, they really only had to think about other nation-state agencies discovering them. These days, it seems as likely to be an academic conducting research or a hobbyist saying “Now that’s weird…”
Isn’t this a definition of insanity?
Some European entities have already jumped to LibreOffice. It’s a European-made drop-in replacement. I’m surprised at them not simply ordering the Commission to switch immediately.
It’s probably more a failure of strategy than of logic. People whose PSY 101 class ignored behaviorism and tactics for shaping behavior would be prone to these sorts of mistakes.
No country should have a veto on new member applications. Turkey in NATO has always felt like “…and hold your enemies closer.”
We’re done here. Have a nice life.
No there are not. There are a few hundred….
Well, whatever your degrees are in, they sure as hell didn’t include grammar.
So you haven’t read even a fraction of the published peer reviewed research and none of the current material. Interesting.
Why don’t you run over to your university library and ask nicely if one of the librarians will show you how to use any of the professional journal databases? Actually reading everything shouldn’t take more than a couple of years if you’re diligent. Make sure to keep up with all the new research published in the interim. Then we can talk.
And child, I teach research writing. I’ve forgotten more than you appear to know. My freshmen would run circles around you if this is the best you’ve got.
Amazing. Admitting that my degrees are not in medicine, even a cursory search of the literature finds over 76,000 articles on medical cannabinoids published in peer reviewed journals since 2000. About 2500 of them were published in the last three years. As an academic and former NPR-affiliate news director, I tip my hat to anyone who can read, understand, and synthesize information from 76,000 articles.
Please share the citation of your lit review and meta-analysis. I’m curious to know your evidence, reasoning, and analytical approach. You’ve drawn an interesting conclusion, so it must be a fascinating article.
We’ve obviously seen different research. Or, more likely, Fox vs legitimate news sources.
A lot of them do, yes.
Definitely an initialism.
OMG! Five paragraph essay when one would be enough. And who is the pro-Palestinian group that complained?
ETA: FWIW, I agree that a nakedly partisan activist, especially one who served as a mouthpiece for war criminals, has no place on any news organization’s review board. My question was just pointing out yhe incomplete reporting in this publication.
