As I recall on Voyager with a little coaxing Tuvok was able to use the holodeck to get “relief” so I’d imagine the same goes for most vulcans who might be on long away missions
I don’t have much to say, so…hey there.

I always got the impression that Vulcan society operated similar to traditional Japanese or other societies where couples were “arranged” by families. Not sure about the one off cases though so maybe there is some kind of sex industry given the physiological toll if it’s not addressed in time
While the authenticity of this is dubious, I don’t think OP knows what a pyramid scheme is…
Look up MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) schemes if you need a reference point.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: We have a HUGE Apathy epidemic right now, and it mostly affects younger people (Gen Z on down mostly but some younger millennials too). I think this is mostly because they were born too late to realize that things don’t actually have to be this way and could in fact be better if people just…tried. But they’ve been beaten down and had the phrase “that’s just how it is/always been” beaten into them so much that they just stopped caring.
It’s ok. It requires a reading and comprehension level above 5th Grade so it can be difficult for some to understand subtle nuances and phrases such as “apart from” and “the”.
It’s almost like that’s what the first line of the title is implying as well.
First help me regrow my head so myyahsbdbdjduxhd
Came here to say this as well. As funny as this would be if it were an accident, just prior to me going scorched earth on my accounts I saw several subreddits in protest that made everyone subscribed to their sub a mod, and confirmed it myself.
It’s very likely a subreddit that the person was subbed to and forgot/didn’t know they were doing that.
Just like those districts I’ve never been to!
My best guess is that it’s either for samples from the surface (though we have seen multiple cases where those were beamed directly onto the main pad or in the cargo hold)
OR
possibly a tools or weapons grade replicator.
The transporter is a vital component on the ship like the engines and requires constant maintenance so maybe they figured it was easier just to have something like that in there to make quick/easy access for replicating the tools they needed when/as they needed it instead of lugging it around.
To be fair, there was an episode of KotH where Bobby and Peggy discover that charcoal was actually superior to propane when it came to taste. It was a whole big thing and hilarious to watch them try to keep it a secret from Hank lol
It’s a clean burning fuel I tell you hwat
I prefer using 12345. It’s the same combination on my luggage!
A quick search seems to indicate that this is “normal” even on legit Office installations. You can check out the link below or go through these steps that the site suggests to see if it helps:

Remove Get Genuine Office by Disabling Connected Experience in Office
Open any one of Office Product, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Click File on the top left and select Options at the end of the left menu.
A new windows will pop up. In the default General tab, find and click the Privacy Settings button.
In the Privacy Settings window, scroll down to find Enable connected experience and uncheck it.
Click OK to save changes.
(In Outlook 2016 and later, you should navigate to File > Office Account > Account Privacy > Manage Settings. Turn off this connected experience option will disable experiences that analyze your content, download online content, as well as other connected experiences like co-authoring and online file storage.)
Many of whom have dissenters and/or “Reddit Sympathizers” within their team that would sooner sell out the rest of the mod team just to keep what measly crumbs of “power” they have.
Why let them have all that content you provided though? Don’t get me wrong what you all do with your accounts is your business. I’m not about to be that person that comes barging in with “YOU NEED TO DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT”, but if it helps lend any credibility to what I have to say - I was on there for over a decade with over 150k karma (99% of that comment karma so I participated a lot in discussions over the years) and as difficult as it was, I deleted my post/comment history and then my account. I don’t want to support them by allowing them to profit off of my free labor/efforts.
Not saying every single comment I made was gold or worth much, but if it helps them to pump up their numbers for advertisers/stockholders then I’d just as soon remove my contribution.
Ahahaha I love malicious compliance. I sincerely hope they do that.
Not sure how it is in other countries, but I always assumed that a “life” sentence at least in the US just meant anything over 25 years
