Those are the hardest dreams…about half my dreams have me in them, and about half of them are just a movie with various characters, none of whom are me, not even me playing some other character. I’m just an omnipresent observer. I can’t change anything, because I don’t exist.

BUT! Those are also usually the most interesting dreams, so I don’t want to change anything anyway.

People are not rational when it comes to guns, abortion, anything to do with children, etc. Contributing information is usually a bad idea and roundly rejected.

I think there’s something to be said for not self-censoring due to the potential of someone’s personal trauma. Respectfully, some random person’s issues are not my problem and should not affect my ability to identify myself or others, as long as I’m not doing so in a mean spirited way. If words cause you mental issues, you should work on that with a therapist. I will not coddle you.

“Queer” is a catchall term. It specifically does not have a specific meaning. It’s meant for people who do not fit into the cishet idea of gender, but also don’t fall neatly into the L, G, or B of LGBT.

“Queer” technically encompasses the L, G, and B too. Anything outside of cishet “norm”. A fully straight metrosexual could consider himself queer.

A generation-defining historical event? We had one in Covid.

A mass casualty event? Again, Covid.

An excuse to wage war on another country, remove American rights, consolidate government power, and enrich certain people? I think that’s quite possible. It worked extremely well for that purpose once.

(note I’m not one of those “9/11 was an inside job” conspiracy nuts, I just think there were some very smart, very greedy, and very evil people who seized the opportunity of 9/11 to effect the awful stuff)

Like almost all gun statistics that are shared in left-leaning media, this one is grossly misleading.

Casting a wide net, the database captures not only incidents in which a gun is fired on school property, but also those in which a bullet hits school property, whether or not school is in session. Incidents in which a gun is brandished but not fired and those in which there are no victims are also included.

So in this case, a “school shooting” can include incidents where there was literally not a single shot fired at all by anyone. A kid bringing his parents’ gun to school and showing it to his friends is counted as a “school shooting”.

Partially due to how difficult it is to make accounts now, everything is tied to some form of identification, and truly anonymous accounts have a shit ton of hoops to jump through to deter trolls and bots.

It’s an equal society, so if they have a gun, I have a gun. So I’d shoot them first. Or I’d point the gun at them and tell them to drop their gun and then do what I told them to if they don’t want to get shot.

Well I’d start by taking people’s stuff. Then I’d say, “hey, I’ll give you some of your stuff back if you help me go take that guy’s things and give me half”. Then I’d proceed in this fashion until I have a group of people who can take whatever they want. Then I’d be able to start ordering people to do things.

If at any point anyone tells me “hey you can’t do that” then I’d just get a group of people to hurt or kill them.

They would then get together a group of people to try and stop me.

Then the rest of people would start to pick sides aaaaand ah fuck we have a rudimentary government. And war and social stratification.

No one does, because stupid ideas, in order to keep adherents, have to become protean. Every time someone points out an obvious flaw in your ideology, you’ll say “that’s not what it is” and shift it to something else.
