I would like FIGS more than PIGS.

I would like FIGS more than PIGS.
More rightwards than European traditional left, but definitely more leftwards than our alt-right!
In my country (Europe) university and high school students are being beaten by the police while demonstrating for Palestine, and people blame the right wing government for it.
The fact that this is happening even in the US under a democrat administration proves them wrong.
I am a complete disaster, sometimes errors slip in even when I have a UI done by a designer because I am totally “blind” to certain aspects.
In my personal projects I try to follow guidelines and best practices for dimensions/typography/colors/placing of elements/etc but the results are “meh” of course, since apart from my layout-blindness I am more tolerant to small sins, since it’s not work after all.
If the project gets to be used by a few people (of course not the faint of heart) I collect feedback and iterate over it to improve the UX.
I can understand why someone talks about European countries needing “denazification”. They’ve a point.
Probably the countries of the Eastern block will be reabsorbed, western countries (which are full of OTAN military bases all over their territory) have already chosen.
The whole EU is pretty f@cked not only Finland. But I can’t figure out what the outcome will be…
I assume you are looking for this endpoint.
Not all mobile apps allow it because it’s a little tricky with the Lemmy APIs.
The first time some random user files a sue in court the admins of their instance will be in trouble.
Lemmy devs are not affected, but instance admins are and according to the GDPR they are considered “data controllers” and are responsible for the processing of users’ data.
As far as I understand it, this lacking feature is an open “challenge” to existing regulation and legislators, maybe also to open people’s eyes about the fact that privacy claims are often not enforced even by those who claim to do so.
Thanks, clearer now!
Why did they vote him in the first place? And it these protesters are the ones who didn’t actually vote him, why don’t they accept the will of the majority? The government isn’t committing crimes against humanity like mass deportations or other last century’s madnesses, so it’s just how democracy works.
I didn’t remember the correct English word, but the meaning was clear. Anyway my comment only applies to the country entering the EU, about which Fico was more lukewarm than about NATO membership.
This is the price the EU has to pay for having wanted to expand to the East without verifying that the annexed countries were meeting requirements or were mature enough democracies. And the price to pay is immobilism today (in a situation that would rather require action) and doom tomorrow.
But, since we are on Lemmy where the average user goes like “Europeans are ex-colonialist capitalist exploiters and need to be eaten alive”, in the end I think the situation is going towards the better for humanity.
Money saved on contraceptives!
Agree… but some innovation is needed in the opposition because the current left wing parties in Italy have betrayed their electoral basis quite a few times in the past and people (workers, middle class, the majority of the population in practice, except high bourgeoisie and the ultra-rich) don’t feel represented any more.
This happened during a historical commemorative event (for an episode happened in the 70s where some people who belonged to a far right group were killed and the perpetrators were never processed) which happens every year and nobody ever cared about it. Suddenly I’m 2024 everyone is pointing fingers.
Italy is what it is, everyone here who feels superior and judge should look at their own country: all Europe (East and West, South and North) is leaning towards the far right except Spain, so don’t feel so superior. Even not agreeing with any f#scist regime, being told that we are a “sh#t country” or other things written in the comments here is not pleasant at all.
We’re family: Catholic, Latinos, good food, sun and beach ⛱️ who cares for the healthcare system, one day we will all be dead anyway!
Agree! And if the devs are responsible enough, not only should they guide you but also improve the existing documentation/wikis, because a build issue or a doubt about anything unclear that affects one person who speaks up can potentially be affecting a lot of other people who do not even dare to ask.
