I’m into genealogy so my idea always was that before I go, I’d like to left something about me on some genealogy website like familysearch.org . Now bear in mind that the website is owned by some Mormon church but it’s huge. Afaik you can put quite a lot in there (not just birth date) although I personally never executed my plan of putting that much info in there (I’m a bit afraid that my info will be missused or cause problems for me or my children but once I’m gone it won’t matter that much). I don’t know if it’s right for you but there is this option. Maybe someone somewhere will make a family tree and say, hey, there was this distant relative of mine and this is their story
It has 230 ft, that’s 70 m since we’re in Europe
Enough phone and laptop chargers to not have to constantly go to another room to grab one.
Yes! I had enough of this so I bought like 6 USB-C cables at once, best buy ever
That’s a good question. It’s hard to go back to my teen years but I’d suggest:
Do you remember how you found the song?
I do actually :) I saw it featured in a video, something like “metal band reacts to modern music” and I think the metal band was Gloryhammer
Edit: Found it, it wasn’t Gloryhammer
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_U7ejfOuV0&t=366s
And do you have any clue what it means?
That I don’t know for sure, the beginning sounds like it’s about falling in love but what the refrain means I have no idea
I remember playing it as a joke to my friends as this “weird video with young Kim Jong Un”. Ended up being one of my most favorite songs ever
I know this is a common joke but how many of us don’t have a problem like this?
Personally I usually have a horible memory but this is never an issue for me, I can stop at any moment and pick up relatively quickly later
I won’t put my hand on this
Ok that explains a lot actually :D Because this is one of my main problems with the film, have you noticed how many people Elsa tries to murder? And not like by accident, murder on purpose, in anger but on purpose! Including Anna, that snow troll would for sure murder her if it wouldn’t be for Hans
I guess you’re right, I’m looking at it too much with my “adult eyes”. But yeah, when looking at it this way it’s just … bad, like really, from every angle - premise, plot, characters and their motivation, … I have a really hard time to finish it when my daughters watch it.
And I know people say “it’s just a Disney fairytale” but so is f.e. Tangled and it handled all those points perfectly. And yet the Frozen is the all-time-hit and not Tangled. But as you said, it’s aimed at little girls and not grumpy old man like me :) And from that point it did a perfect job obviously.
PS Moana is just amazing and “You’re welcome” is one of my most fovorite songs of all time! :)
By far imo. To this day I don’t understand the popularity of Frozen. Maybe because there are 2 princesses?
Sigh, well I get downvotes but I just say it - because it’s more restrictive and some people really like that, dare I say live for that. I’m pretty sure in 20-30 years there’ll be a more restrictive diet than veganism and it’ll be the new cool
Yes, animal cruelty is a real problem. But I’d say the message then is “choose responsibly the source of your milk and eggs”, not necesarilly jump-full-vegan
Eh, not sure if enjoyment is the right word. But it’s nice.
I started with running this year and it was awful and painful. But after I passed a certain threshold I realized it’s no longer painful, I could just hold the pace and run like forever.
Now it’s sort of relaxing experience where I can just let loose my brain and think about whatever I want for like half an hour. Which is nice when you’re an adult with no time for yourself
How to achieve this - I don’t even know myself how I made it. I got one of those Garmin watches for birthday and there was this Coach feature, I just followed it and after like 4 months I was able to run 12 km
When I first shown Star Wars to my wife, she thought that R2D2 name is “Arthur”
There’s a new trend with immutable distros and they have some pros and cons. OP’s stance apparently is that they’re the future
