This fascist asshole was caught on video stealing ballots and still has the stupidity to say the charges are “bumped up”.
Probably believes it too. MAGA people are very good at deluding themselves.
What really stuck out to me though wasn’t the election fraud here, but that Reuters pointed out specifically that voter and election fraud are rare occurrences in this country. I haven’t seen most news agencies specify that, and it’s an significant fact.
It doesn’t matter.
If Kamala loses, they’ll blame us. If Trump loses, they’ll blame us. It’s more convenient to use the 3rd party excuse than to acknowledge that the ruling parties, through the effects of their governance, have convinced tens of millions of voters that missing a badly-needed day’s pay isn’t worth taking the time to vote.
And their stock hardly dipped. A measly 5% drop on news that they’re effectively poisoning people. Impressive.
May the Force be with him.
Always.
That’s fascinating. I love reading about these little random discoveries that change the collective thinking on a historical topic, like when Norse artifacts were discovered on North America’s east coast and we learned that the Norse had beaten Columbus to the punch by 400 years.
That’s awesome.
Also reminds me of people who think other people are racist for wanting dubbed lines instead of closed captions.
And, oddly enough, Wish Sigourney Weaver is a fun-as-fuck character in the story.
What a neat find!
Stories like this are why I hope medical science finds a way to extend life expectancy. I’d love to get a few extra decades just to see the cool things that happen.
That would be wonderful too.
If immortality is out of the question, I’d love to get an extra 20-50 years of life experience, assuming science can keep my body healthy and the experience fulfilling, so I get very hopeful when I see stories like these.
That’s okay.
I know some people like it and that it just wasn’t for me.
Star Wars without The Force and the Jedi/Sith just doesn’t feel like Star Wars to me, but the Nolanized version exists for those who do.
Had a big problem with this watching Andor.
It would have been so much better condensed into half as many episodes.
You’re so right.
I’m just going to ignore that they pretended the parliamentarian’s word was law, which the Republicans did not do when Trump’s tax scam was passed.
Seeing as how Biden’s sitting around doing nothing about cop cities and the criminalization of abortion and homelessness, all the while supporting child genocide, it seems your problem is with Red fascism as opposed to Blue fascism, from where I’m looking.
Minimum wage is currently a partisan issue, a party that believes it should be increased and a party who doesn’t think it should exist.
False.
It’s 100% a bipartisan issue. Both have agreed that the status quo is a-okay, judging by their actions on the issue over the last near-20 years.
Harris has generally pushed for minimum wage increases where she can
I said ‘something significant’. Broken promises and pledges aren’t significant. We’ve had almost two decades of broken promises and pledges on the federal minimum wage, and now people can be legally paid less than cup of Starbucks per hour in 2/3 of the US states.
Unlike a certain rich republican candidate who has misused funds, the money goes to their campaign not the person themselves
That’s not true.
Candidates of both stripes can, and do, loan their campaigns money at interest, and it’s legal. Both Clinton and Trump made headlines for it in 2016.
Further, the federal minimum wage hasn’t gone up since 2008, and that’s more than enough proof to me that neither party cares about people.
Don’t contribute money to these assholes. Put it in your savings or investments instead.
Right?
It doesn’t make any sense to me either.
I respect that. If the Democratic or Republican Party wanted your vote, they should have done more to earn it.
I voted Green myself. I happen to live in a state where my vote doesn’t matter due to one candidate having a significant advantage, therefore, I might as well vote for the person I actually support.
