Same here. While mine is connected, I have no reason to use it with newer consoles in the same cabinet.

Well wingtips are typically used to increase efficiency, so not sure what you mean.
Big wing tips?
Because using the lives of innocent Ukranians as a bargaining chip is in bad taste?
50k should be enough to get a mortgage and buy a house. Enough to buy a house outright would obviously be better.
I assume the people acting like this are doing it because I didn’t give them a tip before they did their job.
Either way, it’s just wasting their time; if they ring the front gate of the building and then just wait there for me to walk down, that’s worse than if they save themselves time by meeting me halfway.
It just takes a single measurement to avoid this… Measure/estimate width of the cabinet, look at the TV width, look at pictures of the TV. Then, if the TV is wider than the platform and has wide legs, don’t buy something that probably won’t fit.
I agree with the others, OP rushed to buy this on black friday without enough thought and now regrets that decision.
Almost like you get what you pay for. The manufacturer goes for the cheapest stand to make the entire TV cheaper.
If it had a good central stand it might be more expensive and then OP would buying a different cheaper TV with shitty stands.
That’s Cowen, former Chief of the Genii.
Looks like he has a nice retirement.
you know they keep posting that you can heat a room, doing this…
No. Who is they and where are they posting it? I’ve never seen this before.
According to the list, it must be awesome!
One indication is that it isn’t blocked by many other instances. You can see that (and other info) on this page: https://github.com/maltfield/awesome-lemmy-instances
Never has the “skip intro” button received as much action as when I watched Enterprise.
Well you don’t want the people who slip through the cracks to wait in line for months to get their money, so you probably need to figure out a system to handle those people, and employees to make it work. Deciding how to handle requests from the people like that, without allowing abuse of the system, and training staff takes time.
I’m sure with research you can find more practical issues that get in the way of implementing it tomorrow, which is before getting to the political issues.
If UBI is done right, no one will need to work to survive, so they can just quit that exploitative job.
Not OP but my posture is improved and I move a lot more, so don’t end a day of work feeling stiff.
I have often seen sites like that, after opening a link from the Google Discover feed that suggests stories of interest to me.
I have just started to block sites like this from showing up in suggested articles. There are almost certainly another site with the same story without shitty pop-in video players.
If you actually check the number of posts/comments on that site against what you see visiting the subreddit, it looks like those stats are no longer accurate.
Cubic feet would be better, especially as taller vehicles are more dangerous to pedestrians.
