Since not all people are on all instances and all communities and might miss something good otherwise. I take it more as a visual spam and a Lemmy annoyance. Similar as to what it has been on Mastodon when in the past consecutive re-boost of posts would also show up multiple times one after another. And in latest versions of Mastodon they fixed it so only one entry is shown. I think this is what Lemmy should also do.
