That’s great unless that person’s files get corrupted/deleted or hard drive fails. Then having backups in the cloud or at least ona a device on a local network is a good idea.

That’s why I only code as a hobby.
It ws only like a decided ago when I had multiple amazing ideas for games and other software, only to have nearly none when I actually started to do some programming for fun.
I think there’s only one game I would like to try making where I see it may have some success, but the idea is very vague and devil is in the details and execution I guess.
What if every part of my body is replaced by computer part continously. At what point do I lose my consciousness?
I think this question is hard to answer because not everyone agrees what consciousness even is.
It blows my mind that fascism is on the rise in fucking 21th century. IN WESTERN DEMOCRATIC COUNTRIES.
I really like Samsung phones, but oh boy, they are so bloated on default install it’s unbearable. When I got my Samsung Galaxy A52, there were like 10 different things that wanted my attention on first boot, and I uninstalled most uninstallable Samsung apps straight away.
I am a hobbyist (and not very good) programmer, and while ChatGPT (free version) often gives me wrong answers, it still gives me some insight on how some stuff could be done (intentionally or not) or how something works and is actually somewhat helpful in learning stuff, but I guess this could be double-edged sword even in that regard.
It is also pretty good at detecting simple code errors, from what I have seen.
Overall more positive than negative, but I wouldn’t recommend to use it blindly.
I use ChatGPT just for programming and it gives wrong answers half of the time.
I wouldn’t believe in anything WHO says.
@Quokkla
Are you a fucking idiot?
@Sarmyth
You obviously are a fucking idiot
@Quokka
You’re an absolute moron.
@Sarmyth
you’re a piece of shit racist.
Lemmy moment.
No, seriously calm down poeple, lol. This is not reddit.
After Ukraine, they are pretty much guaranteed to go after Moldova and rest of Georgia. And expect annexation of Belarus and militarization of area near the baltics next. Whether or not they go after Lithuania/Latvia/Estonia just depends how much Putin is crazy and want to start global conflict.
While I see Ukraine and Moldova in EU in the future if they (we) win, I don’t want Ukraine in EU if it’s fighting a war, since that is just going to create more problem than it solves.
That said we (EU) should definitely support them financially and militarily and don’t depend on USA for that, since they can change their mind any time, if it’s not beneficial for them.
That is a practice that is at least few years old. I’ve seen similar cards with ads of IQOS (or Heets? I don’t remember) produced in many languages for European market.
Sadly the people in Russia won’t rise as long as they can buy one loaf of bread.
It blows my mind that even in my country (Poland) TV propaganda shows Trump as the good guy, what a bunch of bullshit.
They are, on the exact moment they are cloned. On the next attosecond they are not.
Edit: Well, if they are cloned on the cellular level, otherwise it’s just NO.
Also what’s up with the the fact that I need to scroll more than one page down on (even on full-screen 1080p) to get to the actual article? I should be able to begin reading it immediately, and it should appear the top of the webpage. I really hate this horrible UX on “modern” websites.
Some of them, yes.
Why do you need it to be Debian-based?
