I like American music. Do you like American music? I like American music, too, baby.

You make it I’ll join it.
I had no idea soulseek was still around. Found some great music that way when I was using it two decades ago in college.
I, specifically, am full of soup but that’s unrelated.
No, soup requires a broth. Blood is more of a “protein shake” kinda thing:
tastes bad
full of protein and minerals
not cooked with heat
only consumed by weirdos
probably not actually all that good for you
ascribed mystical powers by those who drink it
Nah, microblogging does not appeal to me.
Yeah, like if we get crumbs on our fingertips.
I’m never anxious in my dreams.
Mean is the default “average” because it’s easy to calculate and were taught it first in school. Like, years before median or mode. That’s it, that’s the whole reason.
I explained that in the second paragraph. You get genetic defects even without inbreeding, sure, and you get wrong answers on homework. But you’re more likely to catch wrong answers if two people worked independently, and you’re more likely to have a healthy set of dominant traits when people marry outside their community.
To reiterate: Inbreeding allows for greater expression of recessive traits. Recessive traits are more likely to be disadvantageous than dominant ones, because dominant traits that pose disadvantages are winnowed out by natural selection, whereas recessive ones can be carried unexpressed and passed to the next generation.
A good example is cystic fibrosis. We found out my wife is a carrier. If I was also a carrier, there’s the risk a child could have cystic fibrosis, which would prevent them from surviving long enough to reproduce. But since I’m not, there’s merely the concern that she passed on the carrier gene to our children. It doesn’t affect their survivability at all, and they will live to be the chance to pass on the recessive carrier gene themselves.
Step porn is incest porn in a bad fake moustache.
It’s immoral and therefore also unethical to give fake money as alms or as a tip (including tipping strippers). You’re doing real damage to the recipient that way. With the beggars it’d be cruel false hope; with tipping it’d be violating the social contract and tantamount stealing their labor.
With the collection plate, it’s the same as not tithing, which is allowed under both the social contract and most churches’ doctrines; it’s still obnoxious, though. But certainly understandable if the fake money in question originated from that church, as is so often the case (source: am brunch waitress).
Frank Turner’s best song, hands down
Say you’re doing homework and you want to compare answers with a friend. But you didn’t do your own homework, you copied most of it off Dave. So you compare with Sara, and if there’s any errors that Dave made or Sara made you have a chance to catch and fix them. But if Sara also copied off Dave, you’re not gonna catch those mistakes.
Similarly, you have two sets of chromosomes, and for each “gene” (homework problem) you have genes (answers) that are more or less dominant. Bad genes that kill or impair you tend to be recessive, because if they are dominant the carrier doesn’t survive. So it’s all right if you have one copy, because it’s not expressed. But if you have two copies…

The kinda chicks who would double up on a guy like me would.
I didn’t stress. I avoided stress. When my classes got too stressful I stopped going. When paying for school got too stressful I dropped out. When working my shitty computer tech job got too stressful I went down to part-time and started falling behind on rent. When I lost the apartment, telling my family was too stressful so I just became homeless for a while.
That was the crisis. That was the lowest point.
Maybe tolerating just a little more stress would have been good for me.
I’d like to point out that rational numbers can easily be written in finite length, just not in decimal format.
Rural areas have a higher violent crime rate per capita than urban areas, but that’s not quite the same thing.
Sorry, missed that. I’m on midwest myself.
