Easily “World War Z.” What an utter waste of the source material.
Mastodon is a much better alternative to Twitter/X.
The problem with Trump is that he’s a known quantity to anyone who has lived on Earth for the last 50 years. He’s a compulsive liar, literally about everything and a vile, disgusting person, as well.
Knowing that, I would find it impossible to “just consider the facts” and believe that maybe . . . just maybe, this is the one time he’s telling the truth.
Some of these duplicate communities are just placeholders. But sometimes, the differences are obvious, where one community Is populated by jerks or modded by power-trippers.

How did the “investors” think this business model was going to work, again? “Let’s get millions of people to donate their time and content . . . pay them pennies in return, monetize all their content for ourselves and here’s the good part . expect them to PAY for the privilege of accessing it?”
Yup. You can be profitable without expecting to get rich. The insane corporate expectations of “20% growth every year forever” directly leads to the enshitification of everything it touches, especially social media.
The entire point of the Fedi-verse is so that one person or small group of people can’t ruin the entire platform for everyone else. Anyone who tells you how to moderate your content, backed up by a threat can screw off.
