Anton Petrov’s explanation of this situation
Anton Petrov’s explanation of this situation
This is always the question that trips me up.
I’m 5 years younger than OP. I work in a municipal transportation power system job (we maintain and control the grid for trains, trolleys, etc.). I’m sure I’m wasting all sorts of effort in my professional life. I have time. I got a lot out of learning Power Automate. However, if you ask me to pick one specific project, I get overwhelmed because I don’t know what’s reasonable.
I don’t know enough to know if my ideas are achievable, or if I’d just be bashing my head against the wall. I don’t know if they’re laughably simple tasks, multimillion-dollar propositions, or Goldilocks ideas that would be perfect to learn a coding language.
It’s an accreditation and award from Dark Sky International , an Arizona nonprofit organization. So, yeah, they probably aren’t running around Siberia with light meters.
Still, I appreciate their efforts. Apparently OR had to make some changes to get the title. Effective, too. I hadn’t really thought about the area much. Now, I’d like to go spend some time in the high desert, looking at stars.
I didn’t realize what an absolute menace those things are until I saw this CGP Grey video.
I grew up in the San Geronimo Valley. I remember when that course was built. It never felt right. Very glad to see it going back to a more natural state.
We watch the nephew twice a week, so right now it’s some nameless goddamned children’s song from one of his shows
This is from Economics Explained two years ago. It basically explains the whole thing, but it isn’t really a TLDR.

If that’s too long, Peter Zeihan recently gave a fair summary in a six-minute video.
I’m not, but the PR guy at work still does most of his communication there. It’s because that’s where both news and rumors spread. If you’re not active, you come back and suddenly everyone is convinced you’ve done, or have plans to do something horrible. You basically have to sit there and deal with the abuse, just in case you actually have done something horrible. He isn’t a particularly happy guy.
I used to post amateur photography there. I do still miss the community. It was far more engaged and supportive than anywhere else I’ve found.
You think right. That’s essentially what I was trying to say. To amplify, there’s also going to be almost no opportunity to use any vocabulary learned watching American football. You’d be like that weirdo who can’t shut up about rugby.
American football just isn’t a thing in any other country I’ve visited. If you want to follow and become a fan of a team, It’s going to be soccer, maybe baseball in the Caribbean.
There are other sports that are televised in various countries, but for pure fan passion, it’s local futbol all the way.
You know what it’s like at the “Irish Pub” during the world cup, when everyone packs in and you can’t help but yell your head off for a goal scored by someone you’ve never heard of? That’s what you get for a random Boca Juniors match in Buenos Aires. It’s absolutely infectious.
This is the real answer. Sulfur Dioxide would basically eliminate any other odors. I’m thinking ozone would be a possible addition, along with whatever that metallic smell is, but nothing biological, no rot, etc.
Depends on the dragon.
Go to your library! They likely have Mango or other app-based programs for free with your card.
Go to your library! They likely have access to Paul Noble’s audiobooks. I’d consider those to be the best ice-breaker for languages available.
Seriously, even if you have to buy them, Paul Noble.
You get “regards,” “best regards,” or if we do a lot of work together, " best," from me. I’ll usually express any gratitude on a separate line.
Thank you for all the work you put into this thread, OP!

IBEW will pay you to go to electrician school. They pay you.
Check the article. The old stuff was releasing toxic chemicals when it was incinerated. They actually did it proactively, which is a little scary TBH. Still, Costco sticks better.
Saran Wrap doesn’t stick as well as the Costco stuff. They removed the polyvinylidene chloride years ago. I’m unsure if the Costco film still has it.
Mix in some peach herbal tea bags for another 15 cents?
It really depends on spacing and if they’re impacted. I had mine out at 35. Wasn’t a big deal, but I had other teeth that were congeniality missing, along with gum disease, so nothing was really well attached.
A decade ago. That kills me. I still think of this as a recent event. Let’s not talk about how long we’ve known about dark energy…
