A study doesn’t mean the authors were surprised necessarily. It’s a way to test a theory and take down the results. It makes something that might have been hearsay into a more solid form.

Same, never had this happen and I’ve also been in the woods many times.
To anyone in the US looking for more affordable therapy, look up Open Path Collective. It’s not free, but it’s much cheaper than normal.
Found the aspartame spokesperson.
Most of the smaller soda brands in the US use sugar, too. Just the big boys still using corn syrup at this point.
I just call places like that and tell the service rep the website didn’t work. They do it for me on their end usually and it costs the company more money for the trouble.
I’m sorry to say I don’t remember who to attribute this to, but I heard someone say that we’re living in an age of data-driven stupidity, and it’s hard not to agree.
None of em did anything to help so I’m not surprised.
They just said what they want. 😅 You can disagree with someone but no need to get high and mighty about it.
User name checks out
I grew up in WA and I say it how OP does. I wonder there this person is from, too.
Say, what are you, some kinda birdologist?
And you say you’re not a programmer 🙄
It’s super hard to know this and there won’t be a consistent answer because everyone is different. You have to meet people where they are.
I think you did answer your own question on this one. I’ll also say that as a somewhat technical user but still not a heavily technical user like some people here, GitHub is a really baffling website. It’s hard to even figure out how to download something from it. I would strongly encourage anyone who wants to reach non-technical users to avoid GitHub. It’s made for programmers and it doesn’t make sense to anyone else without training.
Since you’re trying to build bridges with this post, I just want you to know that everything you mentioned in this comment is far beyond a non-programmer and sounds totally incomprehensible. It’s jargon soup. I don’t say this to dunk on you or anything, I just wanted to let you know how high your own skill level is, because it can be easy to forget sometimes. People without those skills won’t be able to follow this kind of explanation.
I hope people start posting pictures like this instead of paying for them
It’s good you have a good one, but the big issue with them is they have almost no oversight at all. They almost function as little privately owned fiefdoms with extremely broad powers over anyone under them. Yours might be good now, but there have been plenty of examples of a good HOA being bought by a corporation and then becoming tyrannical almost overnight. There’s a whole industry of HOA management companies out there, and they are bad news. The last time I saw the statistic something like 80% of new construction in the US is managed by an HOA, too.
Don’t get me wrong, when they work right they serve a purpose, but the lack of laws and oversight of them is pretty scary when you look into it.
Reader mode is a necessity at this point. I don’t even try to read articles without it anymore.
