That’s rough :(
That’s rough :(
That’s wild, how big is your house? My monthly spend on heating is 1/4 of that during winter to keep it at 21.

Currently travelling and managed to get my beard in check almost a week ago. Will probably be untouched for another month. My hair is also getting long. I’m afraid of weirding people out but every time I get a haircut and beard trim + wet shave they always make my beard too short and it’s annoying to grow it back to how I want it. I generally keep it reasonably short and neat but let’s see what happens after this next month of travel.
Interesting, I haven’t rewatched Altered Carbon. How does it hold up? I had read the book before the show came out so I had that reference point in my head.
Nah it’s not cheating, cos there’s a movie too. But yes, I have seen Firefly a fair few times (and Serenity), and once half way through with the commentary. Also I have watched The Orville more times than they have seasons.
I too have enjoyed this suffering a few times now.
I’ve watched The IT Crowd so many times over the years that I ended up in one of the episodes :o
I’ve stopped rewatching of late but have seen many times through the years.
SG-1 wasn’t on any streaming services I have in the UK for ages but just noticed off the back of this that it’s back on Prime. I haven’t watched it for SO many years. Great show.
Halt and Catch Fire I’ve seen 2-3 times and I love it.
In music: GZA and Raekwon probably. Bloodywood and Lake Malice are more recent bands but they’re still on their rise and not as well known as the Wu-Tang overall.
In comedy: Russell Peters, more recently Nimesh Patel.
General: Gary Vaynerchuck
It really did Dude.
They’re out of their element.
I mean… That’s just like… Your opinion man.
Ah yeah much more common now, yet I prefer the customisable nature of wrapper notifications. At one point Messenger worked in them too. No longer.
Yup, Frost was just a wrapper for the mobile site, but it had notifications, dark theme and other trimmings and barely used battery vs. the official app. I’ve been keeping an eye on the official FB app’s battery usage on the new phone and so far in the space of 40% used since I charged my phone to 80% in the morning (with it being 8pm now), there has been no battery consumption from FB at all. This is much better than it used to be. I’m sure when I actively use it it will drain more, but I don’t use it really, only if someone sends me a link or if I need to check birthdays.
It’s the background usage before that was killing me.
I stopped using Facebook on my phone because of the drain it had on battery. I have a new phone which manages it better and it’s back on my phone again, but, like, who even uses FB these days ahead of other apps? Anyway, I still use it for birthdays (which is why I had Frost installed before Facebook broke it), but I miss the days you could just add Facebook birthdays to Google Calendar. Facebook killed that too.
I liked the comments on the video saying “that’s a hedge trimmer not a chainsaw”
