40 F-35s seems excessive for a country the size of Greece. Those things are not cheap.

So -20% real interest rate. No way that could cause inflation…
Erdogan and his central bank head think raising interest rates causes inflation.
I wonder how much of that was because energy prices rose because of Russia.
Maybe those Russian military officers that were on holiday back in 2014 will finally leave Crimea. /s
Russia’s whining means jack shit at this point considering they have been using mercenaries for years.
I’ve clicked on some IG ads before. They have good targeted ads, to be honest. I think I clicked on a game that gives you a mechanical representation of electrical concepts called Spintronics.
Going to have to disagree with you on no enforcement of jaywalking. I have seen that be enforced several times here in Seattle. One of those times may or may not have led to my arrest despite not being the one who jaywalked. I learned that many police have thin skin. You also need cash to post bail so if you are getting arrested and want out quickly, make sure to have $1000+ on you to do it.
Russia has been using mercenaries for years. Not sure why anyone should care that others might be.
Illegal via the UN like Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, Gaza, and the Golan Heights.
Haven’t read the article but from previous news, the previous Harvard president (the first black female Harvard president) was basically forced to resign because she failed to say that a student calling for genocide would be a violation of school policy during a congressional hearing. One of the main guys trying to get her pushed out claimed she plagiarized parts of her doctoral thesis. Business Insider looked into that guy’s wife’s thesis and found that some of it was plagiarized. He whined that they should not be targeting him or his wife.
Business Insider double checked it and his wife definitely plagiarized parts of her thesis.
The Peronists that have plagued Argentina for decades are not communist. They are extremely protectionist and horribly corrupt but they are far from communist.
The exchange rate being real is definitely a good thing. Eliminating price controls and allowing imports will also be good things. That doesn’t mean he won’t leave a path of destruction in his wake. Fixing the economy can be done without having an anarchocapitalist being the one crafting the policies.
While I may not know as much about Argentina as an Argentine, I have taken an interest in its economy since college when I studied the currency board of the 90s and what led to the economic crisis in 2000/2001. So I am definitely versed on the destruction that the Kirchners (specifically Cristina) laid the groundwork for.
Argentina’s annual inflation rate sped past 211% in December
He only assumed office in December. I think he is a whacko but expecting him to have a major change in inflation immediately is a bit ridiculous, don’t you think?
One of my favorite movies…that I will absolutely never watch again.
I think you missed a good chunk of the point of that show. It was pretty clear after the first few seasons that Walt was not doing it to provide for his family. Walt loved his family but loved his job and power more. There were countless times that he could have washed his hands of it and walked away to go back to teaching. He chose to stay in even when it was pretty damn clear it was destroying his family and putting them in extreme danger.
Depends where in the Midwest. Obviously not Kansas and Nebraska but Minnesota is definitely better.
You should get the remote job first. They tend to take COL of residence into account when hiring. That would also give you time to not rush the move. You can visit the city you are looking to move to and get an idea of the neighborhoods.
Out of the two, I’d go for the Midwest. Although I hate the South for a number of reasons (weather, politics, sprawl, etc) so I am a bit biased.
You might also check out here in Washington. I know it gets a bad rap as having a high COL but there are tons of places that can be had for decent prices, especially compared with the general salaries here.
It’s nuts that the decision was that close. Even justices voted to make themselves useless.
Do not use Amazon unless you know exactly what you want. The reviews are almost all fake. What’s annoying is that if you search for review sites on a type of product you do not know much about, they funnel you back to Amazon’s “highly rated” ones and get a kickback of you but the no name garbage. Also annoying is that those words salad companies are all the same manufacturer for the most part. They set up a ton of different names to flood the search results and then throw up a bunch of fake reviews. Some of that shit can be dangerous. Louis Rossman just did a video testung out some highly rated fuses and one of them by Nilight did not blow until 5x its amperage rating. That can easily lead to a fire. He also did one on crimping cables a bit ago that absolutely failed to crimp. Amazon removed his negative review.
Can’t say I have ever had to pay to dispose of CFLs. Bestbuy takes them as does all of the electronic recyclers around me.
Wow. Mao’s idiotic Great Leap Forward dragged down the entire world’s life expectancy.
