Definitely better than Boba, but I think the fight scenes have been better than Ahsoka, and the plot premise also.
The witches are nothing new in Star Wars lore (I think Darth Maul came from their tribe), and I’m all for getting more of that.
I thought the SW Acolyte was alright so far. It’s a bit slow and drawn out, but not bad.
I’m shocked, shocked I say.
Not the one you replied to but they’re probably talking about Kagi. I crunched the numbers a while back and the higher tiers were kind of hard to make worthwhile, however iirc they simplified the pricing slightly since then.
I’m not, NSO are old news now. However it’s like a hydra, chop off one head and three more pop up.
Which company? Article is region locked.
The question hasn’t been legally tested, it’s no more certain now than it was before.
While it might be the case that the EU could come down on a user’s main instance for not deleting everywhere, really it’s no different to anywhere else - any app that uses an API or even just a simple scraper can get comments that a user posts, so as with those it could also simply fall to the user to go around each and every instance and request deletion. Arguably, the Fediverse is better than this because it does include a facility for deleting things from a host instance - the only issue is that the other instance might not necessarily follow that (as instances don’t necessarily run pure lemmy code, in fact they could run anything).
It isn’t really a solution, it just encases them in calcium. The plastic is still in there.
When the plastic-containing water was boiled, these calcium carbonates formed tiny clumps around most of the microscopic plastics, trapping them within and rendering them harmless.
The effectiveness may also depend on the type of water and its mineral content.
Fair enough, I’m still highly skeptical of this study. I haven’t read the full paper, but if they’re replacing salt weight for weight I don’t think it’s much good replacing it with 2/3 NaCl.
Really, we need to ween people off added salt altogether. We don’t need any extra salt, food has enough of it already, and having it in processed food is more about marketing and exploiting addiction than anything else.
This study sought to assess the effects of a salt substitute (62.5% NaCl, 25% KCl, and 12.5% flavorings) on incidence of hypertension and hypotension among older adults with normal blood pressure.
Lol so the salt substitute is still nearly 2/3 salt. This study sounds like bullshit that wouldn’t be replicated in the real world, participants knew they might be getting reduced salt food and thus were more likely to accept it. In day to day life people would still generally prefer the saltier foods.
The author has absolutely no fucking clue what the code in this project does. It might just fucking work or not, there is no third option.
lmfao
My thoughts exactly!
Now, with cve-rs, you can corrupt your program’s memory without corrupting your program’s memory.
Almost had me thinking another season had started!
That’s literally in the article, along with a clip of the Libingston County one: https://twitter.com/LaurenMGibbons/status/1100419006803128321
To the surprise of no one actually paying for things.
It’s still lower than a lot of other places, and also only shows an overall average when certain things have been going up much higher.
In Counter-Strike, you can still win the match even if you kill all the hostages.
They’re right wing, but the factual score is Mixed, not Low. The rule states:
Rule 3: Opinions articles, or Articles based on misinformation/propaganda may be removed. Sources that have a Low or Very Low factual reporting rating or MBFC Credibility Rating may be removed.
Thus this post is absolutely within the rules.
If you want to challenge the post, you should do so on specific merits, not by trying to bend the rules to suit your narrative.
And what about people waving a white flag all by themselves?
What about Israeli hostages topless waving a white flag, only to be shot indiscriminately by IDF?
I hate this phrase because it assumes that copyright infringement was at one point the same as stealing - it never was.
Stealing is a crime, where you take with the intent to deprive. Copyright infringement is a civil offense where the original owner loses nothing.
