Ipv4 is one of those things that works awesome, is simple, and is a victim of its own success. Ipv6 is just complicated bloat of a standard. Cool features, but nobody implements them, so useless.
In 30 years, probably useful. Until then, I’m not giving up Ipv4.

And when you finally get people to concede its about lobbying from elites, the definitions of elite is wildly skewed. People who make $100k/yr are not “the elites”. “The 1%” are not the elites. It’s about $700k/yr now to be a 1%er in the USA as of 2023 data. Even with 700k a year, you aren’t buying a $25m private jet, and a $300m yacht. You aren’t donating $3m at a time to Super PACs to get your pet project through.
$700k/yr is also just some tech dude coding for Netflix that lives in a 1500sqft house in California.
We humans are really really bad at numbers. A million sounds like so much. A billion sounds like so much more. But the concept of how much more is lost on most people. And now you have TRILLION dollar companies.
There are a few people and companies in the USA that control everything. Everything else is smoke and mirrors. And lots is purposefully designed to keep poorer and less powerful people fighting each other.

Wait until you learn that’s how real countries work! A Parliament gives you proportional representation based on your vote versus the proportion of the populace.
Ranked voting, as you describe, still works better but it is still a winner takes all scenario. Some cities, like NYC, already use it for their local elections because yes it makes sense.

No it isn’t… It has more spices. It does not have more capsaicin. Indian food by default is NOT spicy hot. It is spiced. You can get it spicy hot but that’s not default.
It’s like saying fried chicken is spicy because you can order it with a hot sauce coating. In reality just that style of preparation is spicy.
It’s so common people don’t even see it. But it’s the same thing as Mexican food. The perception is it is spicy and will give you diarrhea.
I firmly believe this is because American people in general don’t understand what spices are. Spiced does not mean spicy hot. Spiced is flavourful and they just can’t have that. I have dined with Americans that truly believe black pepper is too spicy. We had a Starbucks chai which is absolutely terrible, and they’ve said “it’s too spicy”… What? Their brains equate flavour to spicy heat to bad.

Nothing to do with being fat. Some people have zero idea how a shower works. You need to put the liner IN the tub area and the decorative curtain outside the tub. Many people push them both outside the tub. Now all the water that splashes around hits the liner and drains right onto the floor and not into the tub.
The amount of water splashing makes no difference if you’re big or small. Pressurized water hitting you is going to bounce all over. Since you’re taking a shower, that’s the goal.
If I had to guess, the curtain is wrong, he has no idea because nobody has ever told him and the bathroom is terribly non water tight so splashing will go down through the floor. Even tile is not waterproof nor is grout.
It’s why I always specify a waterproof membrane and floor drain but it’s not common in US/Canada yet.
