The podcast QAnon Anonymous has an episode about the same topic, also quoting three people who worked on the show. It’s glorious, Irecommend it wholeheartedly.
ALLES EINZELFÄLLE
Depends on how you look at it.
I don’t think we know of a case where it convinced a studio executive, but then again we know very little about the reasons why some shows get renewed and some don’t.
We do know cases where ending on a cliffhanger helped drumm up enough fan engagement to reverse a cancellation (timeless on nbc is a recent(ish) example for that)
There is Doctor Who, and that’s it.
Actually, DW is a good example, because the continuity of that show is a mess, and very intentionally so. That show thrives in its inconsistencies. There are three different explanations for why the Doctor can change faces when he dies, for example. And each one contradicts the others. There is also no beta canon, every tie in is considered canon. So the doctor has officially met Batman, Gandalf and Picard. That’s canon.
In the end IP is a playground and continuity should enhance story. Nobody gains anything from lore for the sense of lore. What does the Klingons always looking a certain way say? Not all that much. It’s a nice to have, because it allows you to recognise them quickly and make connections. But if the look is constricting for the creative team, then they should be able to change it.
Firefox for android also is also the only big name browser on that platform supporting add-ons
Ubisoft complained, so now it’s just “Catan - the Game”
It doesn’t really matter all that much since the shows are spread all over the timeline. There is one exception though: Strange New Worlds is a direct spinoff of Discovery. So you should watch that first. (It’s also the show that takes the longest to figure itself out, maybe with the exception of Picard, so it for the most part only goes up from there)
Oh, according to the entertainment weekly article Tawny absolutely demanded a scene with Uhura (or at least pitched it to the writers)

There is this concept called “crityhype”. It’s a type of marketing mascarading as criticism. “Careful, AI might become too powerful” is exactly that
Why should we be sorry. Russia brought this on themselves.
Iron Sky is a series of movies where Nazis are living on the moon until one day they are launching a full blown invasion of earth
Iron Sky 3 would be amazing
Oh I don’t doubt that meta will be mining all the data they can get via this integration. That’s what the company exists for. I’m just not sure it’s any additional data they aren’t getting anyway.
I think the primary fear seems to be giving Meta access to our user data. The concerns seem to be not completely founded but even then there is still the uneasy feeling with helping facebook of all companies with their next project
I don’t know what to tell you. Makes sense to me
The big question is: What are you interested in and on what instance are you? For new users the local timeline is the best way to start building your network. Of course that only works if you picked an instance that caters to your interests.
Honestly that’s my biggest problem with the official app always pointing you mastodon.social. It hides away one of the best on-boarding features in order to be more familiar rather than trying to make it work.
Another way to find people is the fedifinder, a tool that shows you who of the people you follow on twitter also has a mastodon account (assuming you are on twitter)
here is the entire exit poll for everyone interested btw:
