• Replace ‘Separation of church and state’ in the Constitution with a copy of the ‘Right to bare arms’ amendment, but this time in all caps.
• Repeal all environmental protection laws. The “free market” will ensure companies don’t pollute. Even if they did, climate change is a hoax so it doesn’t matter.
• Eliminate all healthcare plans. If God wants you dead, and you’re poor, so be it.
• Eliminate term limits for conservative politicians. Implement term limits for liberal supreme court judges.

As an American, I have no idea if that really fits what I believe my ideology to be.

Doesn’t this effectively kill the argument that the U.S. shouldn’t implement socialized healthcare because it wouldn’t pay doctors enough - so there wouldn’t be enough doctors?

I don’t know man. Nothing in the Agile Manifesto talks about not focusing on one project.

In addition, I think most people (and studies) would agree that “focus” is key to building almost anything of quality. Not flittering about working on shiny pennies of the day. I mean, a key tenant of sprints is “Don’t interrupt the sprint”. The whole concept is about letting developers focus.

I don’t disagree with you (on giving devs some creative freedom), but “Agile” as a process methodology isn’t about developers working on multiple things to keep their interests up.

I think it’s more a high correlation between blood sugar, tau protien buildup, and Alzheimers risk. But it’s not straight forward. If high blood sugar caused Alzheimers, most diabetics would get Alzheimers - which isn’t the case. There’s something else coming into play.

I don’t have all the piece-parts, but I’ve also heard BCG being studied as a cure/therapy for Type 1 diabetes (Faustman lab studies in Boston). At the same time, I’ve read studies linking Alzheimers to diabetes - some referring to it as “Type 3 diabetes”. Now this. These people should get together and talk.

Fuck these things. Even if they aren’t bad for the environment, they absolutely wreck your yard. In the summer, each week, I’ll go around my yard and clean out 15-16 massive webs. Some of them 40 feet up. Most of them face level. The webs are strong so they easily get filled with leaves. Your yard ends up looking like a fucking haunted house with webs everywhere and leaves floating in the sky. Not to mention the females are HUGE - 6 inches across the legs sometimes. Total nightmares.

Holy hell, this first women’s brother was killed by police after they slammed him to the ground. Then, years later, they run over her son and bury his body without telling her.

Been quoting lines from this movie for years:

It’s fallen out of popularity over the years, but reading programming books. The big ones. There is an expectation that a book will contain every bit of info about a technology, and you can learn it, in depth, in one place. Online articles, videos, etc., often just skim the surface. You don’t get that deep learning and facts that the books would have. I find even “Official documentation” online is sparse and often doesn’t include examples to gain understanding.

Unfortunately, the pace of change, especially in cloud services, cause books to be out of date too quickly, so I don’t see it making a comeback.

Still bugs me that, in the more recent movies, Pike said “Punch It”. Would have been so easy to keep that for the show.

It has a paragraph with the explanation: Basically he says our behaviors are driven by our brain chemistry, genetics, and biases formed by prior events. Every decision we make is a culmination of those things. We think we’re in control, but we’re really just following a pre-ordained script.

Can’t decide if I’m onboard with that. Definitely not onboard with letting criminals off the hook for bad deeds. If your “brain script” leads you to kill, you just need to be removed from society. Sorry.
