Maybe web rings are due for a comeback.

We need a human-curated Internet search. A wiki of good web content.
Clojure is a Lisp and a damn fine one,
Clojure is an interesting language that will improve the way you work and think with other languages. A passionate community, but there are very few “starter” Clojure jobs; they mostly expect you to have years of experience.
I don’t think anyone could go with doing the “Clojure For The Brave And True” book which is online and available in dead-tree form. I liked it so much, I bought the book.
It’s a Lisp language which is the oldest kind. Instead of “object oriented”, I think if it as verb oriented. Each statement is a verb (function) possibly followed by all the nouns you want to apply it to. Easy peasy, right?
People complain that there’s “too many parentheses”. People like to complain about dumb stuff.
Well yes, bad soap operas… And Doctor Who.
Yes, and Codeberg just announced that they forked Redis.

As it turns out, nobody needs Redis now!
I just discovered it recently, and started adding stuff. I feel a lot more comfortable about my coffee here than other places. I like it!
However, I’m worried that future employers may ask me to “share my GitHub” with them, leading me to try to explain to a potential employer what “a Codeberg” is.
The tardigrades will be fine!
Remember what it was like 4 years ago? It’s better than that. A low bar, but they have a point 🤷
Russia’s biggest export is misery.
Yes, but they cost a few pennies more. So that’s not possible.
We don’t know yet, and that’s a little scary.
Does anyone know of a Lemmy instance that blocks obvious Russian propaganda like this?
Edit to say: This guy moderates 3 forums!
Well, he expected to lose, and then leverage grievances from that into more safe grifting. Instead he was forced into a job he didn’t want, half-assed it, but managed to get himself into trouble.
But he found out “Presidents are above the law” so it turned into a pretty good gig for him as a serial criminal. Emoluments be damned. But he kept criming because he’s never faced consequences ever, and crimed to hide other crimes.
You’re right, though. That Jenga tower is seriously wobbling.
It’s designed to work perfectly in a frictionless environment with no gravity.
My question would be: When should we expect the Fediverse version of Stack Overflow?
You are not even answering the questions that you are being asked!
How much can I pay for this service, and can you make it a subscription?
