She’s from the area where I live, I’ve only ever heard maybe two songs of hers, and the first time I even heard about her was a couple months ago. I’m glad she’s been able to follow her dreams and turn her life around, but I gotta be honest, I don’t really give a shit what her opinions are.

It’s Star Wars and video games, two of the most fanatical fanbases in history.
But also 1313 looked like it was gonna be fucking awesome only to get canned. Just like the original Prey 2, the Darth Maul game, Hellraid, and so many others.

Don’t forget overloading them with hazardous materials, only to eventually inevitably crash and cause another social, economic, and climate disaster!
I’d make the exact same argument for Harry Potter, tbh. But JK Rowling is still heavily involved in a lot of that process so maybe not an exact comparison.
It all just comes down to which ones you watched first. I, like others here, watched the prequels first so I love them. All the old heads here can bitch and moan all they want about how the prequels are horrible or how they kickstarted the dark path that is now Disney Star Wars, but I’ll tell them to shut their mouths. The prequels are fine, yes they’re full of cheese, but they’re also full of heart and world building. You can still enjoy something while acknowledging that it has flaws.
Take the old argument of Star Trek vs. Star Wars, I prefer Star Wars even with its flaws and shortcomings.
I mean, the hairstyle trend is annoying, but it’s a little pointless to complain about it so vocally.
Like, it makes sense from like a Black or African-American YouTuber (I actually watched a couple videos talking about this hair trend cause I was curious) to talk about it and be annoyed, because it’s basically relegating representation to one thing.
I did see a video where one guy is looking through the customization options for Hogwarts Legacy, and that game actually probably has the best Black hairstyles of any game I’ve ever seen.
ETA: I didn’t realize the guy had the Killmonger cut until like the last 20 seconds of the trailer. I was more impressed by the assassin’s/acolyte’s hair with the red and the beads.
