Spoons, forks, knives. That’s the only correct order. Knives are on the right because you use them with your right hand, obviously.

I don’t know if that’s just a German thing, but: Swiffer.
The knockoffs are all crap.
I think it’s a “Europe minus UK” thing, but I don’t know for sure. Pretty certain though that the French write it like that too.
Thank you for being responsible. Maybe another rapid test can clarify things. Whatever it is, I hope you get better soon!
There was no doubt I was still positive, I was in bed feeling like crap and going absolutely nowhere. I actually did the test to see if these rapid tests actually give consistent results rather than to see if I still have covid. And because I’m a scientist and I just like measuring things.
Even if it’s negative now?
Yeah I had 3 shots, but the last one was two years ago. Had thought about getting a 4th one for months but there is no official recommendation for a 4th shot for people under 60 in my country so I didn’t. I actually regretted that now, it was pretty nasty. But yeah, completely without vaccines it probably would have been horrible so I’m really glad I got those.
I had the sweating/freezing thing too, didn’t put it into the diagram because I thought it was a side effect of the fever.
There actually is a faint control line. I’m pretty sure it was so “positive” that there were not enough color particles left for the C line.
Yes, that’s exactly what I had in mind. The characters need to have their story and their intentions hard coded. But using that as a basis, how cool would it be to have an actual natural conversation with them where you can just ask them questions that come to your mind instead of having to choose from a set of pre defined questions. It would certainly require some re-imagination of RPGs but that wouldn’t actually hurt at all.
I have no idea if this could work anytime soon, but at some point I’m sure it’ll be possible.
An RPG where all the characters are LLM-powered with their story baked in, so you can actually have a free conversation with them and they’ll be basically chatGPT pretending they’re an actual real character. Bonus points for it being a VR game.
Next iteration: a game that’s generated by an AI while you play it so every playthrough is absolutely completely different.
I can’t wait for AI-powered games, to be honest.
Is it just me or did the recommendation algorithm become much worse a few years ago? I think there was a big update at some point and it’s sucked ever since. If feels like it remembers about the last 10 videos I watched. You were interested in topic XYZ a few months ago and there is lots of new content about it? Sure you don’t want to know anything about it!
I have no idea if they exist for parchment too. I got one like this:
A kitchen paper holder that you can mount to a wall, shelf, etc, and that has a stopping mechanism so that it allows you to rip some paper off the roll with just one hand. Absolute kitchen game changer.
As someone else said: food softens the enamel and makes your teeth more vulnerable so brushing right after breakfast may cause way more damage. I always brush my teeth before breakfast and almost never have any problems with my teeth. I know that my friends who frequently need treatment for their teeth brush them after breakfast.
But that’s of course anecdotal evidence that doesn’t say much, and I’m no dentist, so I may be wrong.
Is breakfast breath worse than lunch breath or dinner breath?
That’s really neat, thank you!
There are alternate web UIs?
I would also assume that if someone who looks like a James introduces themselves as Samantha, it’s absolutely fine to ask for the correct pronouns, or ask them to confirm it’s female pronouns. Samantha would probably actually appreciate it.
My parents used to keep chickens in their garden. They could roam in the garden freely during the day, the coop was only closed at night to keep predators out. One day a chicken decided it would like to check out the roof of the house across the street. Now my parents’ house is at a hillside so the neighbor’s house was quite a bit lower but the chicken still had fly at least 3m up and probably almost 10m across the street. It sat there for quite a while and we were a bit worried it wouldn’t dare to fly back down but eventually it did. Chickens are funny.
