Eh not really. Lock replicators from weapons. More resources means adequate mental health support. No scarcity will remove most war justification.
Religion will be the last thing we need to kill for peace. It’s inherently divisive and anti science
You’re confusing wealth with resources. If we evenly distributed wealth everyone would be wealthy but it turns out farmers would still have to farm etc.
We don’t have the resources to give everyone on earth a palace. We don’t even have the resources on earth to give everyone a western lifestyle sadly.
Infinite resources/energy is waaay past what you’re thinking. Think startrek and replicators
The problem is that while we have infinite information we do not have infinite energy/resources yet. The shift when we get it to remove power from the structures will be larger but reminiscent of the piracy/copyright battles lately
Of course they would. They’ve been trying to provoke a war for ages. The hostages aren’t for negotiations, they’re to force Israel to come after them.
Hamas walked away from the last exchange when Israel wanted younger women released which says a lot.
They forced a war, pushed it into the civilian centres to maximise casualties and there’s still people like you pretending this was a good option for the Palestinians or Israel.
Let them eat leverage hey?
Hamas is never letting those women go. You’re deluding yourself if you think otherwise. In effect all you’re doing is arguing in favour of a terrorist organisation raping hostages. Mull on that sometime.
In the meantime the Palestinians will start eating all that leverage hamas has secured no doubt.
Leverage? Hostages are getting raped and Palestinians are dying enmass and starving.
Perhaps you live in a universe where all this leverage hamas has in the hostages has in any way limited the IDF actions?
Leverage over lives…it sickens me.
The Muslims in London are wild. The stabbings are off the chart and there were over 100 acid attacks last year.
If you’re not hard-line Muslim you’re a target
I’m thinking sacking for participation in terrorism is light. Let them stand trial in the hague.
Hamas started this war for propaganda. They’ll never let those poor female hostages tell of their horrors - that will look bad.
They’ll pretend to want peace while never taking the next step, all while their people die.
The people on here pretending that continuing the war in any way helps the situation are sickening.
It’s a ceasefire not peace. But stopping the shooting to allow aid and release the hostages is a good first step towards it
If you’re waiting for Israel to stop existing or for them to just roll over for hamas the Palestinians will starve by then. Time to join the real world and compromise.
Oh cool well yeah they should just keep the war going instead…that’ll definitely be better!
I guess a ceasefire, aid and possible peace doesn’t count as helping Palestinians to you?
You’re such a nice guy. Yes continue the war as you suggest. It’s only Palestinians after all.
The UN is supposed to be impartial. Pretty sad situation. Worse when you consider that if this guy actually cared even slightly for the Palestinians, helping to start a war with a terror attack would not be how to do it.
Q: How can they keep Putin at bay?
A: Probably the same way as usual
Israel can’t stop till the hostages are back and hamas wants as many Palestinians dead as possible for propaganda. They’ll never return them willingly.
I would be surprised if hostages turn up in Egypt and Iran too to try to expand the war.
Islamic countries: Hamas is actually an Israeli puppet!
Rest of the world: So should we stop supporting hamas right? If Hamas surrenders Israel loses if that’s true right?
Islamic countries: Nah, they’re our guys and we’ll back them to the hilt. They can never surrender no matter how many Palestinians die!
The Disney pr team has sensed a disturbance in the force. Somehow, bad reviews returned
