On lemmy, you could literally just start the same community on another server. If other people agree with you about space, the new community will become the “default” one. don’t really think anybody even has the ability to become “too powerful” because they are neutered the instant the base url changes.

In power strips, the lights are (in the overwhelming majority of cases) actually a neon bulb! They’re cheaper for that specific purpose because they can be powered directly off of the mains power with a single resistor.

Yeah this is a weird one. I don’t really know how the line gets drawn between training an AI and plagiarism. My gut feeling is that this feels like suing somebody for being inspired by your work or learning a new word from it.

I find the OP’s question very intriguing and have kind of arrived at this same conclusion. My only tweak would be that they may, in fact, have more effective immune systems purely due to the fact that access to medicine or areas free of pathogens aren’t as common. Obviously, though, that would be compared to a person who exists in those same conditions but with access to good medical care which is a bit paradoxical.

EDIT: I made this more complicated for myself by thinking, further, that nutrition would also play a huge role in this
