I don’t think either of you is wrong. One of you is talking about the concept of the Olympics and the other the IOC.
They attacked a pane of bulletproof glass; if destroying art was their objective they wouldn’t have had to walk far.
Are there any examples of these protests that have caused lasting damage? What I’ve seen was very visible but didn’t actually threaten anything.
It’s a weird message for sure but they don’t seem to malicious to me.

It affects your immune system but not to the degree the original comment implies. Your humoral immune response doesn’t just disappear, but the effectiveness is reduced.

Odd, my experience is the opposite. Everyone here is chill and I rarely get flooded with downvotes. I’ve only had one asshole in my replies.

This one is terrible IMO. A11y is ironically very inaccessible unless you’re aware of this unintuitive system.
When plants break down they release CO2. It needs to never decompose to remove carbon dioxide.
True, as long as that lumber never breaks down, it will be a carbon sink. You’d need to keep it from decomposing forever, however.
Forests do not offset carbon emissions unless the trees never decay. Unless you’re burying them underground after you cut them down, this method is not removing carbon from the atmosphere.
