Naw. The house numbers don’t repeat between street names.
Naw. The house numbers don’t repeat between street names.
Biased headline. It’s not Hamas fighters or “terrorists” returning, but civil servants like police officers and municipal workers, including teachers. The headline is left intentionally ambiguous.
While a bit over the top, I respect his opinion. Watch any of the documentaries made about him or attend any of his exhibitions and you’ll see this guy is the real deal. He’s been through shit with the CCP and has always been pushing boundaries with his criticism on repressive politics, policies and social issues for as long and he’s been alive.
Covid-profiteering.
How would Hungarian know how to remove him? Imagine Fox News being the ONLY available broadcaster in the country. 24/7 spouting EU bad, immigrants bad, King Orbán good. There is no escaping it, the government is in full control of the media.
If you look at the map, 2/3 of the country is rural, 1/3 is Budapest (and some other major cities). And that’s exactly how they vote every time too. Budapest is a bastion of enlightenment, but the rest is just dark ages.
Isn’t that a righting tabloid trash?
Rech-sex-tremus.
Deutsch is hard.
Ah, is that a common thing in the UK to bring up religion if the perp was Muslim?
The Pope does not represent the Anglican Church. It’d have to be the King of England speaking up.
What does the Pope have to do with the Anglican Church? Also what does it matter if they were religious or not?
I have some second hand anecdotal evidence from someone who used to live in Urumqi and now lives in Canada. She said not being Han Chinese is basically not a good thing to be in China. And having a passport / being a dual citizen is a good thing. She didn’t talk about anything egregious like what some of these articles describe but she did say that when it comes to politics, positions of power and government processes, Han Chinese are always getting preferential treatment.

Sadly a lot of those tunnels were originally built by the IDF. So we should hire them instead.
It’s not just the work force. Korea has mandatory military service.
No you are not. OC conveniently left out UNSC, which does not designate Hamas as a terrorist organization. The strongest there is in the list is perhaps the list of the EU, but even that one is perhaps not impartial and rather beholden to its memberstates geopolitical interests tied to Israel.
Could someone explain the East to me? When I visited Dresden and Leipzig in 2015/16, they seemed very liberal to me, although the people I’ve been staying with did say that there’ve been “troubles” with certain elements.
Now when I read the news it keeps mentioning that it’s pretty bad outside of Berlin. But do they also mean Leipzig and Dresden by that? Or is it just the rural areas that churn out AfD voters?
Yes. And if you had infrastructure, they could have done that trip on a high speed train instead of you having to drive.
What?
I read his book and I read this review, and I have to say it’s quite a stretch in both directions. Chomsky’s point was solely that US Imperialism and NATO doesn’t care about genocide and proves it with multiple examples in his essays. Does he bring up SOME flawed points? Sure, but all in all he still raises very good examples and what he asserts from those is valid.
That said, I have not read anything as of late from him. So you are probably right.
Sanctions are exactly that: international pressure.
These are some weird looking dolph— oh
