Gaza wasn’t stolen, it was literally given back in 2005
They had to evict a bunch of isrealis from their homes to do so, I remember watching videos of that online when it happened.

The front end ecosystem is a bit out of control, but the issue isn’t JavaScript. Nearly every site uses it and people don’t notice.
Business are making intentional design decisions that lead to what we see here.
Whatever they perceive as defensive measures. Rallying against those they are threatened by, recruiting, doubling down on their commitment and beliefs.
To be honest I’ve avoid that region pretty much entirely because that’s the impression I have as well.
The descriptions I hear about conservatism down there are wild.
The reason I was able to guess that was because I looked at data on Islamic beliefs around the world. Most also support sharia law, which supports the use of lashes for various crimes(correct me if I’m wrong).
So do you believe lashes are an acceptable form of punishment? If so, then is your argument simply around it’s usage in this context and that there’s no Islamic law that states to lash people protesting the religion?
Publicly putting groups in your cross hairs tends to motivate said group.
Do you support gay/trans rights?
People with advanced education have a much easier time immigrating.
The US was ~90% Christian until recently. Same with our elected officials, bad things happen from time to time and stupid laws, but the rate of attrocious incidents like this are far less. You could argue it’s cultural, not based in religious text, but tell that to apostates that fear for their lives.
Prevention of tribes is the best benefit imo. I remember on school there were a number of ethnic/cultural groups that didn’t socialize with people out of their group. I don’t believe that fosters a healthy community, and behaviors or symbolic garments to identify you as a member of a group reinforce those group identities instead of all being human beings.
Wow, that’s news to me. I didn’t realize it had gone so far in some places.
Who uses bad Internet intentionally? I’ve been waiting 20 years for a different service.
Whatsapp is just a text service that gained popularity because it bypassed expensive text messaging rates, and it’s superior to SMS in most ways anyways. If meta starts charging people will go somewhere else. It’s odd to hear this take that people are somehow dependant on it. It’s more replaceable than a pair of shoes.
When your definition of feminism is “gender equality”, you’re right, there’s no such thing as an extreme. When you take the equity stance and start treating people as groups and funding/defunding one group or the other you are building up new systems of discrimination instead of breaking them down.
As someone who watched it high, too many drastic vibe changes. From a fun laughably corny movie, to this serious 10 minute diatribe about every possible challenge a woman could potentially face in her life really killed the mood. Many of the scenes with the mother/daughter really detracted from the film honestly.
It’s like putting jar jar in star wars.
Who invaded Germany in 1938?
I don’t think so, not as a temporary measure. We are talking about a country being invaded, imaginr your friends, family, and fellow countrymen being murdered, displaced, and their rights and freedom stripped from them.
And you think it’s wrong to stop honoring the invaders culture while the invasion is actively in progress?
Harvards cs50 I believe has"the missing lecture" that talks about deployments and other activities surrounding programming.
If you want to learn how to make web apps you want to make sure the course includes deployments. Or get a specific course on the cloud platform you want to learn.
