Dude, for real, I don’t know how you use google, but I do not have ANY trouble whatsoever using google. I hate the company, yes, but the search works great still. And with some tips, like using quotation marks and filetype and such, even pesky results are easy to find. Granted, I have to skip like 3 ad results, but that’s it. And I jse google at work EVERYDAY.

It’s literally impossible. I’ve seen programs ask three times to confirm a deletion, with big warnings, really emphasized. Saying it’s permanent all three times.
Then the fuckers contacted us at tech support and go all like “hurr durr I just deleted my project can I have it back”.
NO YOU LITTLE DIPSHIT YOU CANNOT. We did have backups though, most of the time (if it was recent) but it took well over a couple hours to properly restore, so we only did it if they asked nicely and behaved.
TL;DR People are stupid, no such thing as dump proofing. What needs to be done is hold people to higher standards and force to educate themselves or GTFO.
Yeah, TDD is all fine and stuff until you have a system that communicates to a lot of other systems, and also has some weird dependencies, and since you are unit testing you need 300 foxtures and 100 mocks just to get the required coverage and then COVERAGE IS A FUCKING LIE.
Write to non technical humans and ask them for feedback, and if it is clear what’s goong on even if they dont understand some stuff.
Then do the same with various levels of technical people and different walks of life.
