Then they don’t get the money. I think the concept is pretty simple.
Wow. We should only cater to your needs and wants. Got it, champ. 🫰
Not enough. They don’t even believe their own cameras they’ve up on balloons. They think there is some kind of “round earth illuminati” that has infiltrated literally every part of your life to propagate the “lie”.
No, they took random subjects as well. It’s called MYTHbusters. They didn’t just take proven facts and investigate. They took all kinds of dumbass thing and debunked them.
Have a look: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_MythBusters_episodes
Whoa. Malice towards whom? Are you afraid flat earth folks will feel bad about being shut down?
I don’t think shows like Mythbusters did anything but the opposite.
Well…yes and no. I actually expect a lot of Flat Earthers to come out of the woodwork FULL BORE to win some prize money. I can envision this being like Shark Tank, but with the added benefit of educating uninformed minds as to why these people are idiots.
I guess I’m seeing a net benefit.
Yeah. More people involved need to be seeing jail.
It’s different because it mentions Table Tennis players. Now they just need more money to study regular Tennis, Chess and D&D players then a just BIT more for a comprehensive study. Should keep them in a job for 50 years or so.
This is going to sound like a joke, but I’m serious: I hope Michael J Fox tries this out and reports back some positive results.
This is a very simple treatment that is universally available, can be done at home, and at the very least is preventative. He is a huge public figure in the Parkinson’s world, and any potential upside to him for this would be enough to get a lot of people to also get the same if they have a risk, or are early-stage.
The article doesn’t go into if this can still help late-stage Patients, but it would track that it could at least stop symptom progression, being a simple vitamin deficiency and all. A more fully formed treatment could also include fecal transplants to replace aged or missing colonies of these gut bacteria if a late-stage progression means these colonies have just died off.
Sadly, since Parkinson’s ultimately is about neuron damage or death, I don’t think any of this is expected to repair any damage already done.
Uhhhhhh, no. I think the context is the thing.
So that means they have optics…
This is a reimagining of e=mc2, without the m. It attempts to explain gravity and missing mass, but with these spheres instead of mass. Skips Dark Matter.
Gravitational Redshift has been confirmed and observed. If there was a whole bunch of the gravity spheres just out in space hanging out, it seems we would have been able to confirm that similarly by observing large swaths of distorted space and red shifted light waves.
Okay, so hear me out here before shouting me down:
This is just kind of thinking “around” the lack of observable Dark Matter, the fact that we haven’t detected any massive gravitational oddities when relating to mass, and the Einstein Field Equations. So it’s just kind of replacing the ‘m’ in the equation, but wouldn’t we be detecting this sort of thing literally everywhere by now? How would this justify something observable like Gravitational Redshift, because it would seem we would have noticed something like this for as long as we’ve had deep space telescopes, no?
Do some research. It’s a huge news story.
Research grants. Money. Career. That’s pretty much it. The guy who did it is unremorseful as well, which really pisses me off.
This is important because because it’s easily measurable, comparable, and likely to be unique. This was not the case with the Amyloid Plaque route of research (recently announced to be retracted due to falsified imaging in the original studies) where it could exist in non-Alzheimer patients in similarly measurable quantities. Takes a lot of the guesswork out.
Science fucking rules.
Nice tertiary account. You’re sad.
