I use regex find and replace for rename/refactor edits across files. No AI necessary. But I’m also a Luddite using Textmate on an old Macbook.

If it was slightly flexible, it’d be a good driving sim screen wrapped half way around the rig.
I started in 2006 web design & development, worked till 2019 when my company dissolved, 5 months before the pandemic.
I moved out of the city and I’m fixing rusty old cars for peanuts. It’s nice, but can still be stressful. Just in a totally different way.
Good thing German decided to shut down all its nuclear plants. Could have helped both energy prices and the climate…
It interesting that the memory is so discrete that it can be reprogrammed when a single ROM fails. And it’s really neat that they made the whole thing accessible to a radio controlled boot loader. The planning that went into building and maintaining Voyager is really incredible.
I wonder if we could still build one as robust these days?
Kinda goes with being rich. Which is pretty much a requirement to run for small offices in most of the country (pay is shit) and definitely requires to run in major races (advertising and organizing is expensive). So only rich dudes run, and you generally have to be some type of agile to get rich in the first place (there are exceptions, but not many).
Getting ptsd from making gouache pallets in 100 level color theory class.
It’s a common problem with underfunded development. Though the lead devs make a big difference too.
If the EU can fine Apple (formerly the most valuable company in the world), they better fine Nvidia (recently the most valuable company in world) let’s see if they are really valuable, or just propped up by AI hype after the crypto crash.
I gotta get some of those for my kid before he’s too big for baths.
I was seriously wondering how many conscripts might have signed before getting killed in Ukraine.
Thanks! That’s how I read it as a joke, but why not?
For yay ho would be too much though.
Cyberpunk libertarian dystopia aesthetic: dope.
Actual libertarian dystopia aesthetic: same as now but more annoying. And more bears.
I was under the impression that (at least in the US) scammers don’t reveal any real phone numbers with Caller-ID. That they just chose random numbers with your area code and similar exchange digits to try and convince you it’sa let local call (like you drs office or whatever you may be waiting on). Is that not true?
Smaller more diverse farms would help, but the grocery stores would have to learn how seasonal, regional crops work. Instead of offering pineapples, kiwis, and strawberries 365 days a year.
Plus self hosting an index big enough and fast enough for a useful search engine is ridiculous.
Also some Newfies I’ve met have an odd mix of Irish/Scottish/Canadian accent that really threw me the first time I heard it.
I’m not from Canada (but within 1/2 day drive or less my whole life), but I think if the first answer I got was Canada, the next question I might ask would be what part/province?
Ooo communism and corruption, capitalism and exploitation, or just oligarchy and oligarchy.
Or even from one page to the next.
I think the term documentation can and should include bug reports, community questions and answers, and project examples and guides that are often only shared in Discord servers in recent years.
Most of these servers would be better off as discussion forums, but spam and ancient software have really hurt them. Young web devs need to start giving a shit about open web again. Time to make something better than phpbb, wordpress, and discord.
