While not a renaissance fair exactly, there is a jousting tournament in Leeds Castle in Kent once or twice a year. It’s a lot of fun with armour, swords, horses, the whole shebang.

We had 40C here in London this time last year. It was not pleasant. It didn’t even rain.
I was mistaken, it’s predicted to reach 120f.
It’s 120f in Italy at the moment.

There is nothing new here. There has always been a vocal, violent, right leaning minority in Irish society. There have been two instances that have made headlines around the world in the past few weeks that may make it seem like Irish society in general is leaning further to the right.
