GTO was/is great.
It’s Bing without tracking. And the things like quotation marks still work. However, baseline search using it has still gone to shit.
And? Whether it’s fair or not that is their competition.
Yeah, they’re definitely glossing over a lot of things. They don’t even mention the source of co2 or even a real timeline.
It’s quite obvious at a theoretical level but not easy in terms of figuring out the actual process. A lot of science like that.
The biggest question which is barely alluded to in the article is cost. If it can’t compete with mass produced butter at cost and scale then it’ll just be another “alternative” which is good but not as big.
They also mention that they compared emissions and land use but give no aspect of what synthetic processes are used (I’d assume they at least have provisional patents on the “how to” already).
Does saying in 28 years make you feel better?
Honestly, doubt it is millions. Boeing has a big problem for the other reasons you mention but people like yourself actively avoiding their planes is going to be a minority. I’ve flown a few times since all the shit became public. All the planes were Boeing… full flights (and not super popular destinations). I’m thankful I want on a 787 or the new 757s I’ll agree with that.
Well, I’ll be long dead before we get a Farnsworth drive running off dark matter.
Yes, as I said theoretically. If/by the time this heavily theoretical engine comes to fruition there will probably be ways to detect asteroids better than we have now. Also materials/structural design that are better than what we have now for sustaining the smaller hits. Maybe quantum prediction scanning, maybe a forcefield. Who knows by then.
Most of space is empty, analysis of the path beforehand and a structure that can withstand the smaller objects is really all that’s necessary. But those are just as theoretical as this engine.
So the brain organoid grew normally after thawing and kept the phenotypes tested (normal and epilepsy).
Organoid is very different from a full organ or organism though. Useful for research, extreme doubt for any clinical utility though.
BoA and Chase are both above the limit that they have to have a decent chunk of actual non-invested cash. Trump increased the limit of when that is necessary and i haven’t heard of Biden dropping it back down. Lack of cash reserves is an important part of why a number of small-mid size banks were capable of failing.
There’s a non satire versions of this around.
Things are very people specific as to what gets through some Journals are known to have lax review but high publication costs. These “predatory” journals and other nepotism stuff has been an issue for a while. The scientific community wants to tackle these issues but it’s been hard to make any real progress. Covid politics and now AI have really not helped.
Can eli5 this for me?
There’s an identical voyager here on earth built same as the launched one that they use for that purpose. They may also have simulations now, but doubtful hardware was capable enough when voyager 1 launched in 1977. This is three years before Tim Paterson and 86-DOS 0.10, and ten years before MS-DOS 3.31. Joe Biden was 35 and in his first term as Senator.
Yes, mom likely to seriously injure herself though. Someone already posted a wiki on hysterical strength. Basically our muscles have limiters so we don’t injure ourselves(your muscles can tear your own tendons and break bones). In certain situations(such as your kids being crushed by a car) those limiters get bypassed.
I think an interesting one (that is still controversial) is that megakaryocytes(MKs) in the lung actually produce a significant amount of the platelets in your body. Rather than platelets all coming from bone marrow MKs. It is interesting because these two different platelet origins have different responses to infection.
