Yeah, he should have…had one of the conservative justices murdered? WTF do you want him to do
These are some of the most conservative people in the country living here. The overwhelming majority of them want absolutely nothing to change. When someone gets cancer, they turn to “god” for help. Any effort to make their environment cleaner or healthier would be immediately denounced as “government overreach” or “socialism.”

Yes it does
First off, your formatting sucks. Just link the damn article.
Second, I can’t help but notice the Biden Admin was made aware of this not long after he entered office, and then he publicly banned the practice. This happened in spring of 2021. Why is this suddenly news?
The Biden White House issued an edict in spring 2021 banning the anti-vax effort, which also disparaged vaccines produced by other rivals, and the Pentagon initiated an internal review, Reuters found.
Clickbait headline, it’s a £1 per ticket fee on large concert venues to support smaller concert venues.
Scottish Greens’ culture spokesman Mark Ruskell said: “A small £1 charge on the biggest stadium-packing gigs like Taylor Swift at Murrayfield could have a transformative impact on our industry and our culture."
Whatever you’re talking about right now, it has nothing to do with actual EV prices in the US today
There’s a person behind him in the picture
Wow, thanks for posting this, now I know what an utter piece of shit Scott Ritter is:
Ritter is a contributor to Russian government-owned media outlets RT and Sputnik. He compared Ukraine to a “rabid dog” that needed to be shot. He compared the treatment of Russians under Ukraine law to Nazi Germany’s treatment of Jews. In October 2022, he posted a provocative tweet about Bucha to test the reaction of Twitter. The tweet stated “Bucha was a war crime, Ukraine did it”. DisInfoChronicle (the website of NGO Detector Media that claims to refute Russian disinformation) wrote that Ritter was being used by Russia to “promote narratives needed by the Kremlin”.
As if that’s not enough:
Ritter was the subject of two law enforcement sting operations in 2001. He was charged in June 2001 with trying to set up a meeting with an undercover police officer posing as a 16-year-old girl. He was charged with a misdemeanor crime of “attempted endangerment of the welfare of a child”. The charge was dismissed and the record was sealed after he completed six months of pre-trial probation.
Ritter was arrested again in November 2009 over communications with a police decoy he met on an Internet chat site. Police said that he exposed himself, via a web camera, after the officer repeatedly identified himself as a 15-year-old girl.
The next month, Ritter waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was released on $25,000 unsecured bail. Charges included “unlawful contact with a minor, criminal use of a communications facility, corruption of minors, indecent exposure, possessing instruments of crime, criminal attempt and criminal solicitation”. Ritter rejected a plea bargain and was found guilty of all but the criminal attempt count in a courtroom in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, on April 14, 2011.
In October 2011, he received a sentence of one and a half to five and a half years in prison.[3] He was sent to Laurel Highlands state prison in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, in March 2012 and paroled in September 2014.
Ok, but Chinese EVs are barely even on the market in the US right now and are not going to influence prices given their limited volume. Prices are going down due to the factors listed on the article, not due to hypothetical competition
Anyone have the soggy, sticky aftershot?
ERCOT had one serious outage in 2021, is that what you’re talking about about?
Did you just make this up? Because that’s not at all what this article says, and Chinese EVs are a puny crumb of the US car market right now
Among Texas voters, about 45% reliably vote blue. Fuck 'em all though, right?
Are we reading the same article? I don’t see those numbers, I see:
A Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted between Thursday and Friday found that 5% of Republicans and 2% of independents said they are much less likely to vote for Trump because of the jury’s ruling. Meanwhile, 30% of Republicans and 13% of independents said the verdict made them much more likely to vote for Trump.
It’s just so incredibly imbued in capitalism. It’s not your fault, it’s our society"s fault. Remember when there were movies and no “universes?”
“Star Wars is one of my favorite intellectual properties” lmao
Population growth cycles are usually pretty stable under typical conditions. It’s hard to overstate the number of cicadas emerging with these two broods aligning this year, this will be a population growth cycle on steroids for predators, which is why it’s remarkable. Next year, with so many additional predators, they will negatively affect the populations of other prey due to increased predation, which will negatively affect predator populations the following year, etc. The point is the population disruptions in these ecological systems will be large
One of the theories as to why these periodical cicadas evolved these lengthy reproductive cycles is because they avoid elevating predator populations long-term.
Are you talking about Joe Lieberman and the ACA and then Manchin and Sinema in 20-22? The fuck do you mean “always?” They’re constantly fighting back against the Republicans
