How old was the company? What industry? How many staff? Much revenue?

Open source projects enjoy free gitlab ultimate or whatever it’s called
(Unless they shallow cloned)
As a large repo maintainer I use gitlab because they are much friendlier to open source devs
Availability is really important too when literally all your passwords are in there
