Because of the particulars of US tax code, individual tax liability is a function of income, information voluntarily provided to them. At least, the accuracy of the info is voluntary; submitting a w4 is required on hiring. Since you can claim five dependents and then file with zero, the government won’t know what you owe until you file.

Some people use this incongruency to pay almost nothing during the year and pay in at filing. Others do the opposite to avoid underpayment.

You can replace tiktok with Facebook in your comment, and it’s all still true. If you really believe that tiktok is somewhow worse than FB, you aren’t paying attention.

As long as the CCP can simply buy the same data from the unregulated data brokers of the world, any fear of tiktok is purely performative.

I asked him what it was and have yet to hear back. He was known for fiddling and upgrading, but I may be mixed up between his car amp and home amp. I know he used to add whole-farad caps to provide “punch” for the car amp without dimming his headlights, but I thought his Denon Optical Class amp had a big cap, but in hindsight, that makes less sense, as there’s not much call for it after a dedicated power stage.

I’ll update when if he gets back to me with a useful answer.

This seems like a fun rabbit hole to go down with regard to capacitors vs condensers, but a rheostat and a resistor are not the same, and both are used by these names in electronics today.

Another player is the potentiometer, which handles low power variability. That’s about the extent of my ability to shed light here though. I look forward to other more knowledgeable than I am adding to (and likely correcting) my comments.

Edit2: A family member was re-assembling an audio amp and set a 1-farad cap on his just wiped countertop (which happened to be damp still) and blew a crater in the cheap Formica. We laughed, and nobody was hurt. I was 14, and learned that a capacitor sure can discharge quickly!

You’re forgetting that with the microchips in vaccines, they can control our thoughts, so most of the participants don’t need to be willing or aware. Cuts it down to just a few people in control of the 5G vaccine chip program.

While I agree with your premise regarding the dual justice systems depending on class, in this case, the guilty party is in jail here he belongs (but likely not unrelated to the fact that he stole from richer people with more power).

Kaplan of the Federal District Court in Manhattan that Bankman-Fried had fed documents to the media in order to intimidate a witness in the case. Now Bankman-Fried has to prepare his defense to seven criminal charges from jail.
