Can I post my own officially published music there?

Wow that security dude was so eager to get physical. Does he actually have the power to place people under arrest?
That and there’s the whole liability issue if something happens and it’s found out they were completely aware someone was living there.
I actually know someone like this. He’s been in software engineering since the early 2000. I recently saw a post from him that he’s now a firefighter recruit.
I use Thunder and it displays the username on the main post feed. It has a refreshing look as well and doesn’t want to just look like Apollo which most lemmy apps seem to try to emulate.
Agree with all your points. If I had a penny for every time lift-and-shift is mentioned when migrating to cloud from on-prem…
There was one time I was traveling and had to reset one of my passwords. It sent a verification code via email but my email provider wouldn’t let me login because I was in a different country I’ve never been to before. So it was a train of recovery processes to reser my password on a single account.
I have a coworker who has a 1.5L bottle of coke zero beside him everyday.
Thunder and Arctic are my go-to’s. Thunder because it looks different than the rest of the apps that try to emulate Apollo, and Arctic because it can embed and play videos/gifs from inside the app.
I read some more context about this. This specific team are not google/youtube employees. They are Cognizant contractors working on YouTube Music. Apparently, their contract was set to expire on that exact day they were petitioning the city council for google to recognize their union. So there are 3 things here:
They are attempting to form a union and get recognized by google, but as employees of a different company working as contractors.
By coincidence, their contract was set to end on that day, which is kinda weird that they weren’t aware.
Technically they aren’t laid off by google, they will just report back to their employer. Now what happens with their employment with cognizant is another question. They will likely be “benched” until another client contract comes up, or maybe laid off as well.
I’m not defending google/youtube here, just sharing information I got that provides more context. Take that info as you will.
A judge/justice quoting religious text in an opinion should be expelled.
To be fair, we sometimes have to look through multiple related documentation and tickets to make sure the change was actually reviewed and approved by the necessary teams (network, security, etc.). We also have an SLA for PR reviews/approvals and some people have a habit of sending it out for approval at the last minute of the change window.
TIL anti-static wristbands are a thing. I need get me one of those.
The most common thing I see is people confusing usb-c with thunderbolt, and using the former on docks and expecting it to provide power and transmit data.
OP said they’re going back to Windows. Maybe you should read it again.
To answer the question, OP you should be fine with Defender. It’s more than enough as an AV.
Those fruit puree or yogurt squeeze pouches.
Mine was removed 30 something years ago in 3rd grade. I did have some auto-immune stuff happen to me like hyperthyroidism and eczema, but they all manifested in my 30s.
I have the beta installed. There’s 9 days left before it expires.
My 6s still works. I did have the battery replaced 3 years ago because I expected to continue to use it a couple more years. I got a new phone last year but my old one is still happily running.
Yeah, 40% of income going to housing is difficult to maintain, no matter how much you earn.
