I’m going to tell you that we’ll have some of the most spottiest blotches of our history. It’ll be rooted from the times and events where extremely aggressive opposers to generally anything intellectual have gone on crusades to undermine anything they think is a huge problem, like scientists.

This will be our Burning of the Library of Alexandria. We’ll just have inconclusive data to our researches because of politically charged people.

The same people who popularized fucking their cousins, of course.

No because this was probably part of their plan to corrode the world.

I’m starting to see some drinks and packages of food even have calories varied. For example, I’ll buy a monster java drink of the irish blend flavor. One can will be 190 and another can will be 180. They’ll both have the same nutrients.

We are seriously now beginning to slip in keeping this shit consistent and it worries me.

Soon we’re going to be ran out of everyone who was alive that served WWII. There are no more Civil War and even WWI veterans to help remember. Once the last WW2 veteran is gone, everyone will forget (if they hadn’t already, it’s been 80 years or closing on to it). Then we’ll be off on people who think they know how it all went and the re-writing of history will commence.

Why not stand up and fight?

You know, instead of preaching these infantile ideals in how to really make change. I’m more ready for individuals who actually have a more thought-out plan in how to achieve what we need to do.

And so far, yet, I’ve not seen anyone really do it and I’d be including myself before anyone makes that jab later. It’s just very tiring to see people rush to social media and think that their posts will be heard or read that’ll make some significant impact. When, there’s absolutely no organizational structure in place or any motives in how to go about the things we all keep daydreaming of happening.

Guess it’s too easy to daydream than get off of our asses and make the sacrifices required to make change. Not if we have to miss another minute of being online in a boring dystopia that is what the internet has become to all piss our time away looking at memes and making memes.

We do. It’s called the constitution and whatever liberties we’ve installed.

The problem is the toothless actions that have been taken, to enforce these things. Too much bargaining, bypassing and bribing.

But if we give them a strongly worded letter or a warning or a caution - that’ll get things done! That’ll be like telling that child or pet not to do something even though you know they’ll do it anyways and once they do it, you go “aw schucks!” before fixing the issue and cycling back again.

And everybody else I hadn’t named but behave similarly to or exactly like these piles of collective shits. What a fucking time to be alive, said no one unironically. Damn I have to keep almost coming back to this comment to edit because of a name of some other asshole I just remembered to tack onto this list, it’s horrible.

This is like asking if whether or not KBin or Lemmy will be on the same levels as Reddit/Facebook/Instagram/WhatsApp/Twitter within a year.

The answer is no, not yet, it’ll take time and it’ll have to be one thing at a time.

Politician would definitely win. You have to really whore yourself out to be even remotely likeable if you want votes. You have to spend like crazy campaigning. You have to go around from town to town, actively making promises you know you won’t keep. You lie your face off in every debate you’re in.

Then if you finally reach a position, it’s literally like a cushy job with, somehow, the bare minimum requirements. The worst you can do is just not fulfill your promises but then again, you lied enough anyways so what does it matter? You could get into trouble with authorities but again that depends on position and some political positions give you diplomatic immunity and if you’re in one of those, then go ahead and break nearly all the laws short of killing people.

Politicians’ key things to do is just talk, write on paper, sit for prolong periods to vote on things and basically just rely on other staff to do all of the dirty work for you. All at the expense of those they govern.
