If the “idea people” I talked to were proposing a partnership where they brought valuable skills to the table, like anything - salesmanship, advertising expertise, accounting, investment, financial knowledge, graphic design - that would be totally different than just “I have this killer idea”.

If people wanted to pay me to make their project, I’d consider it. But usually I’ve gotten people who think I’m going to work on their “idea” for months with no investment or compensation, then release it and cut them in.
