+1 for lemmy.readme.io, it’s much easier to read than a JS lib documentation.

Yeah that’s vodozemac, which is a Matrix crypto SDK written in Rust, and is part of the broader Rust SDK they are developing (which handles nesrly everything necessary for client development, even some opinionated UI stuff).
Like rorschah said, it’s a Matrix client, with a focus on being super lightweight and embeddable, having its own SDK. I enjoy it, since all other clients (with exception of iamb ig) use up a lot of memory on my account. Unfortunately, development has been very slow lately, and the client is missing important features like edits, text formatting and so on.
That is strange. Check the logs show anything out of the ordinary.
I believe they will explore using the new matrix-rust-sdk in Element Web further down the line, but it isn’t a priority afaik. I’d love them to continue development of Hydrogen tho :p
That’s the “Local link” I included in the post body.
Yeah exactly! It’s a great case of “invisible” improvements.
The two biggest things are lifetime extensions and inline consts. Both will allow you to write more concise code and, in the case of lifetime extensions, may help eliminate some bugs, since you won’t need to work around that limitation anymore.
I just upgraded my Lemmy instance’s hardware and finally got IPv6 support :D
Incredible update, well worth the wait!
Congrats to everyone involved :D
Great comment, cheers!
This is kinda obscure in the grand scheme of things, and will realistically not going to happen, but I’d love if the /r/EthosLab community moved here :P
And of course, a bigger portuguese presence (I run a portuguese instance hehe).
The Matrix is a classic for me too.
Possibly the first Pirates of the Caribbean. Dunno exactly how many times I’ve watched, but it’s close to 10. It’s such an iconic movie, with excellent scenarios, acting, and so revolutionary at the time.
I’ve watched some older Pixar movies (from their golden age imo) a bunch of times, like Monsters Inc and Nemo, as well as the masterpiece Shrek 2 from DreamWorks.
Wrong community for this type of questions. Please see !lemmy_support@lemmy.ml.
Even though there are plenty of great and quickly evolving mobile apps, I use the web interface both on desktop and mobile devices. It’s actually quite good, and since I’m a mod and instance admin, the feature completeness is key. Apps are not there yet.
If your instance blocks it, it may be the case they allow community creation through a more curated process. Look for any meta-community (i.e one about the instance itself) and see if there’s any info on it.
readme.com (aka readme.io) ain’t libre, but it has a free plan.
I also think it’s a bit on the heavy side, but what isn’t these days…
