If Lemmy ever really took off things would get harder. There’s quite a few subs but people barely notice.

I remember defending it online against a bunch of Linux users and I got told that the UAC prompt is overbearing while having to type your password is fine because it’s just “muscle memory”.
Someone will probably shoot me down for this but I actually find ChatGPT good for explaining concepts to me. Especially when I just want a high level understanding of a concept as I try to understand another one without getting too bogged down. A lot of Google results go into way too much detail.
I don’t fucking care, I want woolly mammoths and dodos.
I don’t get what’s firing up these anti-monarchy people. I don’t give a shit about the King or the royal family or anything but they wield absolutely no power, it’s a huge part of our culture and history, they bring money into the country, and many people love it. All they do is turn up at events and try to stop people enjoying themselves. There’s far more important things to be complaining about.
That being said, I think he should have been allowed not to say that part, simply because it doesn’t matter.
Now I’m a Lib Dem voter but the UK Conservatives are not clones of the Republicans no matter how many times the internet says they are. When the Republicans made abortion illegal the Tories condemned it, and while the Republicans are trying to make same-sex marriage illegal it was Tory led coalition when it got legalised in the UK, and they didn’t put it to the public vote, they just did it.
Looks like Reform got a lot of votes despite not getting many seats. Those nasty cunts aren’t going to shut up about this for the next 4 years.
I agree. I thought he was a snake after Brexit but since then, everyone I’ve heard his name he seems to be pushing through some new policy I agree with.
I’ve never really understood this whole thing. There isn’t a vocal group saying we should keep all this stuff, I’ve never heard anyone arguing to keep it, even on the Daily Nail comments section. Why did the government put a law into place to stop museums giving stuff back? No one was asking for it.
Looks like it went pretty Conservative around the Corbyn era. This is misleading to people who probably think that Tories and Labour are the equivalent of Republicans and Democrats. If they want to show left vs right they should be looking at people leaning towards the likes of UKIP and the Brexit party.
I’m no defender of the US or anything but I doubt they’d be bombing refugee camps and hospitals.
Securing a long-term fixed rate mortgage just before the war in Russia. Other than that it’s basically been any time I saved money rather than spending it.
When I was at university I couldn’t work at home at all and I had to force myself to go to the library on campus and work there. I later learnt I had ADHD though, so that didn’t help.
You’re probably as stupid as the rest. I expect there’s loads of stuff you’ve just taken at face value that is completely wrong.
iDRAC? That’s what it’s for. It’ll allow remote access to your server but somebody would still need passwords, etc. it’s been around for ages so there’s going to be good practice guides on how to set it up.
However anyone feels about their performance they can’t simply do a better job between now and the election. The signs are there for everyone to see that it’s simply time to let someone else have a go.
Animals are idiots.
I think the people who name those ships have never even owned a passport.
Most people don’t understand how basic 3D printers are. They’d be way better if it wasn’t for all the 70s patents holding them back for decades.
They can’t just spend their whole term shitting on the Conservatives.
